Yes, but please add the opportunistic nationalists who pursue their own aganda involving smuggling, drug trafficking, abuse of donor money and other criminal activities within Kosovo: They are currently playing politicians in Pristina. They have no interest at all to solve the problems and turn Kosovo into a state with European values and standards, they are the ones who benefit from the current limbo status. So they do their best to obstruct the EU sponsored Pristina Belgrade dialogue, and they don't care about negative headlines.
As usual, the international companies acted smarter than most governments with their hasty recognition: They waited, and didn't invest in Kosovo. The latest failure was the planned privatization of the Kosovo Telekom. Nobody invests in a corrupt environment, where irresponsible politicians out of the blue impose import bans, invent new taxes or create tension just to please their nationalistic followers. Investors need stabilty, a good government should care for that.

I have seen a lot of comments being made saying Serbia should just give up a part of its land and cultural heritage and important history though I clearly see these people have no sense of common sense, no country will be exempt then in the future from divisions within there own, can you Germans, French, swedes, Swiss, and rest of you in the eu accept a part of your country being divided the way you are twisting Serbia's hand behind it's back? He said that Thaci has to phone Washington to get permission before he uses the bathroom let alone control Kosovo. On the issue of the situation in the US and in particularly your part of the world i.e. Chicago; he said it reminded him a lot of Kosovo – Pristina to be more exact.
He has always had a 'pair' as you put it. He is being aggressive but through diplomacy and by doing such, he now can show that Serbia is in the right. Unfortunately for Serbs, Serbia has been right before and has not benefited.

Exactly. Just like when Albanians fire at Serbs in tents or when 'playing kids' throw stones at buses with Serbs travelling on roads, Pristina has nothing to do with it. It's the work of local extremists and nationalists. On the other hand, sending special police to enforce 'law and order' and replace policemen from the other ethnicity with some of the own ethnicity is 100% the work of the Pristina 'government' - btw., aren't these exactly the same methods Milosevic used, not so long ago? If he would be a Serb, Milosevic would probably be very satisfied with his student Thaci, because he learned the lessons so well.
In that case you have to return all that money EU gave to Serbia.

Also if Serbia still considers Kosova as "intergral part of Serbia" should insist paying all the debt belonging to Kosova incurred during Yugoslavia. However Serbs were very happy to get rid of that debt and as the most recent events show Tadic will speak differently if money stops coming.

This is really twisted to say the least, and it just shown once more that Belrade is loosing touch with reality, and is turning things around. Excuse me, who wants to become a member of the EU. Serbia. We europeans can easily live without them, and Serbia has to change completly if they want to become a member. This only goes by accepting european values, and this man, who is the President of Serbia, clearly shows, that he has no idea of what that is, and what that means. Forget it, nobody, I repeat nobody want a Serbia in the EU who displays such unreal ideas, and who's president publicly makes such fase steatments, like implying that Kosovars are behind the attack on the bordercrossings. Learn what democracy means first, and than we can talk!
the mentality in Serbia must be changed because if it goes like this, the whole country will suffer it as it is now. The propaganda of politicians toward the serbian people must be stopped as soon as possible because by doing this Europe will be so far away... get some examples from Croatia, Kosova, Montenegro, Macedonia.... all of these countries will be part of EU... but not Serbia.... until you recognise the Republic of Kosova... as a whole country with its borders... then what we do in the future if we join Albania or not is our business...Many Greetings

Fact - Serbia therefore cannot claim soveignty over somehting it does not control.

I have seen a lot of comments being made saying Serbia should just give up a part of its land and cultural heritage and important history though I clearly see these people have no sense of common sense, no country will be exempt then in the future from divisions within there own, can you Germans, French, swedes, Swiss, and rest of you in the eu accept a part of your country being divided the way you are twisting Serbia's hand behind it's back? Fact is your multicultural states do pose a great threat to your own countries stability in reality just look at the recent events in Norway and recently England admitted that multicultural reality has failed in there own country, why? Fact is if your born in another county but your back ground is from another even though being born in another country having it's residency and citizenship dose not integrate you into that country, why? Serbia hopes to overtake the north of Kosova just because there lives a minority of serbs!
How about if Bosnia demand Sanjak, Hungary half of Vojvodina, and Kosova Presheva Valley! Would serbs se that this is impossible to criate clean ethnic states in Balkans! If no serb accepts to live under other authority than Serbia than no nonserbs like to live under serbian authority !!!

Exactly. Just like when Albanians fire at Serbs in tents or when 'playing kids' throw stones at buses with Serbs travelling on roads, Pristina has nothing to do with it. It's the work of local extremists and nationalists. On the other hand, sending special police to enforce 'law and order' and replace policemen from the other ethnicity with some of the own ethnicity is 100% the work of the Pristina 'government' - btw., aren't these exactly the same methods Milosevic used, not so long ago? If he would be a Serb, Milosevic would probably be very satisfied with his student Thaci, because he learned the lessons so well.
