Force is a sign of weakness.

No sir; force is to implement one of KFOR duties under 1244 to ensure freedom of movement in Kosovo.

The Ugly Truth

pre 12 godina

This situation is going to turn ugly.
(BT, 29 July 2011 16:27)

US foreign policy loves 'ugly'. It goes to bars in the evening looking for 'ugly'. It picks up 'ugly' and sleeps with 'ugly'. It wakes in the morning next to 'ugly' and has another go with 'ugly'. It doesn't call for a couple of days because it doesn't want to seem easy, but it just can't help its ugly self.

Case in point, US relations with Indonesia are back to where they were before Indonesia's crimes against humanity against East Timor on its independence. There are plenty of others too.

I propose a slight change to the headline:

Lots of cross-dressing should be involved, Erhard, being German should have no difficulty with this (I base this on my recent trip to Hamburg, an very nice it was indeed too).

Zoran says: "Force is a sign of weakness" I almost spit out my coffee in laughter! Thanks for the entertaining line Zoran. I think you're slightly bi-polar because you advocated the use of force many many times over the years on these comment boards when it suited your objective.

Ummm, I think you should check as I have pretty much and consistently advocated truth and reconciliation. I have push forward the idea of negotiations as that is where strength lies. Force is a sign of weakness my friend as the cycle of violence continues repeating. It solves nothing whereas negotiations can bring lasting peace to the region.

The thugs in Pristina with help from the aggression pact are weak minded dimwits.

We've seen this kinda roadblocks before, remember in and around Knin(Croatia) Serbs tried to separate Zagreb from Split! this time they're trying to separate Mitrovica from border posts which is not going to happen either. Some people never learn from mistakes!.

I think you're slightly bi-polar because you advocated the use of force many many times over the years on these comment boards when it suited your objective. With that said, Serbia must be the weakest nation in the world because force is the ONLY way that they have "negotiated" with their neighbors. Keep the non-clever spin coming buddy. And as a reminder...NATO used "force" on Serbia. On the contrary, "force" was very effective and knocked Serbia out of Kosova forever! You're only as strong as your weakest link. The weakness was in the Serbian military because they pulled out. Nobody cares if you claim your tanks werent detroyed, or soldiers killed....they arent in Kosovo anymore. The objective of a countries army is to fight with the intent on protecting the national interest and win wars at all costs if need be. Right? Your "hero" General Mladic didn't get the memo....

Force is a sign of weakness. NATO and ethnic Albanians are getting desperate. Whatever gains they may make will be temporary. As they have no ability to negotiate and lead the region into peace and reconciliation they are only making matters worse. The law of the mafia is in full swing.

Time to move the VS in. KFOR (HATO) is threatening Serbs now. HATO was always against the Serbs. The idea of Serbia joining the eu is finished.

One thing that I would like to point out is that every Serb poster is mentioning that they should keep the camera's rolling to "show the world" what the occupiers are doing. Did it ever occur to you that KFOR has their own camera's that are just as effective in recording your hooded mobs and unruly villagers to "show the world" what trouble Serbians create? Bottom line. KFOR is in charge and they have set the rules of engagement and Serbians know this. If Serbs cross the line into their restricted zone or if they are being fired upon or threatened....KFOR will have it all on camera. Im all for recording every bit of this fiasco. I think its a better idea for those Serbs causing trouble to go and lead productive lives and "work" for a change instead of going on holiday vacation sitting on logs in the middle of the road. Dont they have jobs? Lazy communists.

This is a new dawn my friends! The time has come for Kosova to excercise their sovereignty! Borko was slapped in the face with Beuhler threatening the use of lethal force in the case of attack on Jarinje and Brnjak. Whats Serbia going to do about it? Protest? Go right ahead if makes you feel better...just dont get too close to Jarinje or Brnjak.

"Both gates are declared military restricted areas and the rules of engagement are very clear” Buehler told Reuters in an interview. Call his bluff Serbia....I dare you.

According to Buehler, "the soldiers can employ lethal force, they can employ their weapons to defend themselves, to defend all the people, to defend the property, the military restricted area." Whats Serbia going to do about it? Overwhelm the Germans with Soccer Hooligans? Hahahaa!

More like 100 thugs/criminals and/or Serb MUP Agents.

Serbia's politicians are looking for a "hero" to fall for Serbia. In another words a guinea pig, so they can then run across the world's media claiming to be a victim. Ideally for Serbia's politician would be a kid being killed during this blockade. They don't care for Serbs of Kosova as long as it prolong their political lives. Its pity that when it comes to dirty politics, it is the people that suffers and not politicians. I am very curious to know if Borko and Bogdanovic will be staying there with local Serbs when the deadline of 2 hours expires. I bet my life they will be crossing to Serbia and waiting for some "Serb heroes" to fall and then to take photos of those dead " heroes" in order to spread the news. Shame!
