--You bring up something that puzzles me to no end. Serbs want to label Kosovo as a UN protectorate rather than independent. They would rather the whole world knows that the UN had to take the unprecedent action of confiscating Kosovo inorder to PROTECT its citizens from Serbia. It would rather to daily post how they are protesting actions in Kosovo to the UN, EU, EC, UNMIK, EULEX, Kfor, showing to the world they have absolutely ZERO control over Kosovo. Reminding people daily that "we are so evil that the UN must band together to insure protection for the Kosovo people from ourselves." It is difficult to understand how a whole people are willing to go through such humiliation just to be able keep the Albanians from trying to live in peace and control their own destiny.

Kosovo is not recognized as a country in the UN therefore it CANNOT set up border posts at administrative crossings with Serbia.

Why, because you say so ?! What is the law and the relevant article that prohibits it ?

Russia "pleaded" for a meeting, the French Ambassador says, but didn't "ask" for one, officially, although they could have had it. So Vuk made a long trip for nothing, it looks like. I hope he took French Air - the food is pretty good, at least.

''Vuk Jeremić last night could not board the plane in London on his way to New York for unspecified "technical reasons"

When Jeremic gets to New York, he should complain to UN, about British Airways too. He should ask Russia, and China what they though of British Airways. Maybe they can condemn the airline for not letting him board the plane.

He is a joke. A leader of a criminal regime.

As for helicopters we will have ours very soon. We are pretty familiar with how the Serbian products look like so the trucks will go back from wherever they come from.
(Simpatiku, 28 July 2011 22:17)

K. Albanians like to use the words VERY SOON. Cant wait for the entity to function on its own without its masters - must be very soon LoL.

Yes, start turning trucks back and have all of CEFTA against you. You think that fake Kosova is of greater importance to CEFTA agreement than Bosnia and Serbia. Just wait and see - enjoy your 5 minutes.

I will have them for as long as I want. Go to Bernjak yourself and check. I am with three others stopping every truck with goods from Serbia. They will not be left in.
(Simpatiku, 28 July 2011 19:22)

Hardly so, not with the price of fuel nowadays and the economy crises. Once the helicopters stop (not yours) there will still be the option for you through Zubin Potok, or will it :).

Your analogy between the Republic of Cyprus and Kosovo is bizarre to say the least.Cyprus is a member of both UN and EU and is recognised by 191 countries with the exception of Turkey.Furthermore, the Republic is neither a UN or an EU protectorate.
(Leonidas, 28 July 2011 17:49)

I agree with most of your writing. I think the US hoped back in 2008 that by recognising illegal Kosovo independence they created a 'fact'. They probably hoped that everyone would say: OK, well, yes, let's move on...

And thus forget this breach of international law and UNSC resolution 1244 and Serbian constitution?

How could they have been so naive?

Russia and China will never accept a UDI as they know other regions can try to use this precedent.
Same for the countries in EU that do not recoginize illegal Kosovo independence.

So what will happen? I am not optimistisc. I think Kosovo will more or less stay UN/EU governed. It will not join EU or UN. Things will more or less stay the same. Another Cyprus? Yes, I am afraid so.

If a tree falls in the forest and there is nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound? This is precisely the strategy of the thugs that are out to protect Kosovo's independence. There is no sane or moral reason to not allow Serbia to discuss issues regarding Kosovo's Albanians. However, if the Kosovo Albanians' US allies can keep the issue outside of global consciousness, they believe they can make others forget about the issue. If the world forgets about Kosovo, then they can pressure countries to recognize the UDI. Its a strategy that will fail in the long run because it has caused a political gulf between the US and many countries. Moreover, Serbs will continue laying on the pressure. It's been three years since the UDI and look at how Serbia fights as strongly today as on that first day. Every tiny move by the Albanians is countered strongly by Serbia. It will never end.

You bring up something that puzzles e to no end. Reminding people daily that "we are so evil that the UN must band together to insure protection for the Kosovo people from ourselves."
It is difficult to understand how a whole people are willing to go through such humiliation just to be able keep the Albanians from trying to live in peace and control their own destiny.

Dont forget our representative offices in Montenegro, FYROM and other countries. Goods is just like water, you simply cannot stop it.

CEFTA = UNMIK Kosovo

As for helicopters we will have ours very soon. We are pretty familiar with how the Serbian products look like so the trucks will go back from wherever they come from.

Kosovo is not recognized as a country in the UN therefore it CANNOT set up border posts at administrative crossings with Serbia.

Why, because you say so ?! What is the law and the relevant article that prohibits it ?

Russia "pleaded" for a meeting, the French Ambassador says, but didn't "ask" for one, officially, although they could have had it. So Vuk made a long trip for nothing, it looks like. I hope he took French Air - the food is pretty good, at least.
