Mr.Kasa,
Hungary lost those and not her territories because they never belonged to Magyars! That's why that so-called treaty was erased and the lands went back where they belong to. Kosova is Serbian's land as Jerusalem is Israel's capital. Weak in history but rich in imagination.

Mr. Kasa, if you dont like the way things are being run in Serbia, either put up or shut up. (Niall O'Doherty, 18 July 2011 13:02)

That's pretty rich coming from you. Try live as you preach then, eh?

You can like his points of view or not, but telling somebody to 'put up or shut up' just because you don't agree with him says a whole lot about your rather rudimentary understanding of fundamental human as well as democratic rights.

He is the ex Deputy PM and for a very good reason. Why do B92 feel the need to continually run worthless soundbites from political has beens. What next? will Josip Broz gave a statement from beyond the grave?

Just read this comment left by some person on this page: 'What he meant to say-we would not mind loosing all albanians in kosovo..but we will never give up on a land..'

If that is the mentality in Serbia, than forget it. You didn't lear anything, and you still are the warmongers you were in the 90's!

Now if Jožef Kasa lives in Subotica he should be very familiar with Hungary’s experience in the new Nirvana called the EU, where suffering no longer exists and the blind and the sick are healed.

Now that we have got that fantasy out of our systems, perhaps Mr Kasa can describe the joy of Hungarian farmers when their country joined the EU and they could not sell their produce in the Budapest markets because the EU imports were cheaper because of subsidies.

Mr Kasa claims that Kosovo is gone, but I’m terribly sorry to disappoint him that’s not so and even the EU are surprised that it has not been settled much sooner (they thought it would be over in 2/3 years after the conflict was over).

Well Mr Kasa just sell up in Serbia and move over the border and take up residence in Shangri-La and write back telling everyone how great it is in Hungary. Here is some news for the obtuse; if it was the case he would be living in Hungary right now and not Serbia.

Cedo and Jozef make a gret couple.
Only someone with a name like Jozef would say this. This explains why there is so many who would vote for EU and NATO memberships.
Serbs are surrounded with enemy in their own country. Pity, and yet some Serbs still insist that Serbs outside Serbia should mind their own business because they have no connection to Serbia.
I think we love Serbia more than a lot of her own citizens and are the only hope Serbia has of genuine support. Serbia is being ripped apart from within.

I totally agree, the people of Kosovo should decide - and not the election fakers and manipulators who currently play politicians in Kosovo government. Some Albanians do not to understand what democracy means, it seems.

Jožef Kasa is speaking the truth. I don't know if any of you understood what he said, but him saying that Hungary lost two thirds of its territory in a way includes Vojvodina too.

And because of faking and manipulating elections and being corrupt, Thaci and his buddies have lost all the credibility to govern Kosovo. This is the opinion of a human being from a democratic country in Europe.

The case with Hungary's lost territories and kosovo is totally different,
There was a huge magarization going on in austro hungary, you where hungarian if you speak hungarian more then any other language, and then again hungarians where only 48% in the Kingdom of hungary, in 1910, and the territories that they had where never theirs, hungarians came in the 10th C in Europe before there lived Slovaks/Serbs/Croats and other Slavs in modern day hungary, And kosovo was always 98-99% Serbian until the turks came, and many serbs left kosovo and albanians immigrated to kosovo, and now when there are no more serbs and roma and others left, albanians make kosovo its own even when historically it was never albanian thats the difference!

"Constant dealing with the Kosovo issue, instead of economy, means a downfall for Serbia"
Thats right, Serbia needs to move forward but Kosovo will always be Serbian, even if there are living 100 mil Albanians!

Absolutely, we are not Hungarians, Germans or Austrians. The American empire won't be around as long as the Ottomans so we have been through more difficult periods.

Jest another Serb on a Serb site.
Funny how Serbs think that nobody remembers their fabrications and death threats for their own colonial advancements.
And the great fact is that 90% of them show symptoms of alzheimers.
3 years and all uphill. ;)

People who beat the drum of fear of possible Vojvodina succession aren't doing it because they are afraid it will happen, they are doing it because they HOPE it will happen.

People who bring up this topic are usually diaspora Serbs and local politicians who appeal to them.

It's a pure fantasy - and a revenge one at that.

In the minds of theses people, Serbia didn't do enough to "defend" itself. It lost Krajna, it lost Bosnia, it lost Kosovo and now IT WILL LOSE VOJVODINA (they hope).

My message to these people: Don't hate Serbia. It might not conform to the wax-museum version of Serbia that exists only in your head, but that's ok.

Aside from the fact Kasa is trying to make, the guy himself is a complete nationalist.

Its a point I've made before but when Serbia (his country) played against Hungary in a water polo final, he admitted he would support Hungary.

I'm not therefore particularly interested in his opinion of Kosovo. He couldn't care less about Kosovo or Serbia.
