There has been a furious reaction from Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to the U.S. recognition of Libyan rebel leaders as the country’s legitimate representatives.

This is a sign that the west is getting nowhere fast. After months of bombing and even helping the rebels with, get this, training (looking at how well they have gone in Iraq and Afghanistan I’d look at someone who has had a win to train me) and even weapons little to no ground has been made.
Gaddafi has been drastically underestimated by Washington et al. It is now common knowledge that the western military brains gave the old Colonel only 5 to 10 days and it’s all over. Gaddafi has done exactly what he wants – he has caught the west into a trap and sooner or later they have to negotiate with him directly.
There are stories coming out that the Hungarian sausage, Sarkozy, is trying to negotiate with the Colonel on behalf of the west. What can you say but the west is run by idiots and their military incompetent politically appointed toadies.
Gaddafi can go on like this for years, but can the west? The other story that the west is peddling about running out of ammunition – its crap; he can buy as much as he wants.
This recognition is only to show something has happened – look at Kosovo and ask how far has it gone with 75 countries recognizing it – not an inch.

"Do ALL the People of Libya have a legitimate claim to the wealth and resources of Libya, and to the Government of their Collective choosing? "

That's the problem: Gaddafi is a dictator, never elected (as the great revolution leader, he stands outside and on top of the Libyan 'democracy') and was not chosen by the collective of the Libyan people. His supporters are mostly found amongst his own clan/in his province/region (which is provided with wealth and money), while other regions/clans in Libya got neglected and couldn't participate. Not to mention the billions of $$ Gaddafi and his family deposed on their private bank accounts all around the world

How dare America maliciously and callously suggest that someone has lost legitimacy, without firstly acknowledging that America lost any and all legitimacy a very long time ago.

According to the legitimacy of America’s Falsely Claimed Democratic Values, Do ALL the People of Libya have a legitimate claim to the wealth and resources of Libya, and to the Government of their Collective choosing?

Or is ONLY those who America deems fit to eat and live to have a legitimate claim to the wealth and resources of Libya, and to the Government of America’s choosing?
