Don't worry, I used the best paint on the "Zero" stone in Budim, one side is šahovnica, the other side is red-blue-white. Will take forever to remove that paint even if an army of his arrow-cross buddies try help so hopefully you won't see his Trabant for a while. That paint is inside of them, that's the problem. There is not a single Hungarian who isn't Serb / Croat / Svabo / etc. at the same time. To escape the truth some live under the rock somewhere in a NY gated community.

"Henel" is a German family name, by the way - our Joe is not more Hungarian than either Weissbier mit Knödel or Gefilte Fish.

Your man should have opened her up at 4am in the morning, not in the middle of the day when the place is crawling with speed cops. Idiot.

Their was a funny incident on that stretch of highway a nationality I wont mention all-right a Serb was speeding got trapped in a radar trap. Was ticketed of coarse he never learned his mistake soon as he was out of site of the cops he floored it. A few kilometres down the highway was a another speed trap boom rite in to it he got a hefty fine. The Croatian cops are doing that trick more often it is very good revenue maker. A Few days ago the News reported that the highest clocked speed in New Zealand was 187kph, How the hell did he reach That number?
(NewZealander, 13 July 2011 21:34)

Is that all? I've done about 210 km/h in my Holden Commodore V6.

What is that, 138 miles per hour? That is nothing for a Mercedes. I once did 110 mph on my little Chevrolet in the middle of america's southwestern desert.

"I am not interested in Croatian chicks and I can't afford a Croatian car. All I want is to drive from Újvidék to Zágráb without crossing borders.
(Joe, 29 June 2011 13:58)"

I think, this explains - Croatian police made a little administrative mistake, they wanted to interview someone else regarding the funny spellings like "Zágráb" or "Újvidék" - but caught a Serb in a German-titled Mercedes instead by mistake. No problem, next time, he wasn't driving that day - he was trying to wash the Croatian and Serbian colors of the Zero Kilometer Stone.

This is somewhat weird because he can't have Croatia license to begin with. And people easily go 90 - 100 miles / hour on the ZG-BG freeway. OK, it's "only" 140 - 160 km/h but doing it I did see regularly drivers arriving with at least 140 - 150 mph to my rear and flashing the lights. Not sure, how that "made" into news because if every Serb, Croatian, German, Italian, etc. who drives over 200 km/h will be stopped by the police the road will be empty and we could use it four ourself.

As for fine - yes, that is somewhat extreme, good to know.

If he's not allowed to drive foreign-plated cars in Croatia over the next 12 months... Then how will he get out of Croatia with his German-plated car? o.O
