War kills. That's the truth. And that's accepted by international humantarian law (IHL). No one can be prosecuted for that. Only war crimes - i.e. crimes against IHL - can be prosecuted in a court of law. And for that there needs be evidence that a crime has been committed (and by whom). Counting the number of dead does not suffice; while it may say something about the extent of human suffering, it is not proof of war crimes.

It is the Serbs who show signs of severe torture according to those who work with refugees/immigrants from the Balkans. The Bosnian Muslims for all their talk are noted for being able-bodied and showing no scars or signs of torture.
They lost mainly military men and they were even cause to kill their own civilians in staged massacres. Canadian soldier James R. Davis was witness to a shelling which killed Muslim children while he was there and investigators found it came from Muslim controlled territory while all their observers reported that there had been no activity from the Serbian side for that.
The Muslims were constantly staging and provoking attacks for PR purposes. Their second biggest aim, besides ethnically cleansing Serbs in their territory, was to get blame for Serbs in the media. They were using buildings in the infamous Sniper's alley according to testimony from New Zealand and other officers there at the time. It was no military advantage to Serbs to pick off civilians - all it did was demonize Serbs in the press and gather support for the upcoming bombings and sanctions. It was good motive for the Muslims forces only.

Tablecloth Hotdog bun,

Lenard, before you hang one more vacuum cleaner from the windowsill of the auxiliary barbeque, please make sure you remove any and all remaining fishsticks from the highway. Otherwise, Otto von Bismarck might burst into dog food.

This comment is an updated comment that is much more Diplomatic than the other Diplomatic comment of mine that must have been censored for some reason that is strange to me.

I never respond to anyone personally, because if I am right, then it would not be wise or modest, and if it is a Troll, then I would not want to dignify them by acknowledging them.

I can and will parrot them if I want to, as long as I change some of their words to correct their Biased Lies.

We know that there are Many Serbs who became Catholics during the days of Yugoslavia, and so it should not surprise us to learn that some of them have put being a Catholic above them being a Human Being.

This is why I have said that it could be that Goran Hadzic is a Secret Catholic who was working for Pope John Paul the Second to give the Orthodox Christians a bad name in order to expand the Unholy Roman Empire in Europe.

It serves no benefit to debate with certain People, and they only gain pleasure by arguing, and that is why I deliberately refuse to argue with anyone.

This because I wish to deprive certain types of People the pleasure they gain from arguing, and also I wish to help them to learn that there are better things to do, even though some People are a lost cause.

I deal with the Facts, and I found an Article on the Balkan Insight Website and it is Titled: Croatian General Gotovina Sentenced to 24Years.

Even Though the Article used the words joint criminal enterprise, in small lettering, I have changed to Capital Letters, because JOINT CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE are the words used by of the Judges Hague Tribunal who are even Biased towards the Croatians.

This should not surprise any of us, because even they German Nazi of the Second World War were disgusted with the Evil Deeds of their Croatian Allies.

Many Croats did not want Yugoslavia to exist, regardless of what happened to Yugoslavia or its People.

There could be some People who pretend to complain, but secretly they Gloat that they have their Country of Croatia.

It is all Croatia’s fault, because of the violent deranged aggressors caused all the suffering, destruction, all the deaths, and the continued Slander.

I have provided some of that Article here, and I have used Journalistic Licence in a few parts to show the true motives in my personal opinion.

The Balkan Insight Article says: The UN war crimes tribunal has found retired Croatian general Ante Gotovina guilty of persecution, murder and other war crimes against Serb civilians and sentenced him to 24 years in prison. The court also announced its verdicts against two other generals tried alongside Gotovina. Ivan Cermak was found not guilty on all counts, while Mladen Markac, like Gotovina, was found guilty on all counts except one. Markac was sentenced to 18 years in prison. The verdicts of the generals, considered to be war heroes by many in Croatia, can be appealed. The generals were accused for their role in the 1995 Croatian offensive known as Operation Oluja (Storm). The court found that Gotovina and Markac planned and led members of the Croatian military forces and special police in an effort to forcibly and permanently remove the ethnic Serb population from the Krajina region of Croatia. The two retired generals were found guilty of persecution, deportation, plunder of private and public property, destruction, murder, inhumane acts and cruel treatment. They were found not guilty on one count, forcible transfer. In its judgment, the court found that Gotovina and Markac were members of a JOINT CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE that also included then president Franjo Tudjman and other members of Croatia's political and military leadership. The trial chamber said that the members of the JOINT CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE Planned Operation Storm, which aimed to remove Croatian Serbs from the Krajina region through force or the threat of force. It also found that members of the Croatian military forces and the special police committed a high number of crimes against the Serb population, including deportation, persecution, and unlawful attacks. While estimates vary widely, it is believed that some 200,000 Serbs either fled or were expelled from Croatia during the offensive, and between 700 and 1,900 civilians were killed. While noting that a war was ongoing in Croatia during the period leading up to Operation Storm and that crimes had been committed against Croats, the court said that it was not addressing crimes committed prior to the offensive nor the lawfulness of resorting to war. “This case was about whether Serb civilians in the Krajina were the targets of crimes and whether the Accused should be held criminally liable for these crimes.” Ordinary Croats and the country’s leaders have expressed shock over the court’s findings that the crimes committed during Operation Storm constituted a JOINT CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE that included members of Croatia’s wartime political and military leadership, and that it aimed to permanently remove the Serb population from Krajina. Gotovina, arguably the most senior Croatian to be tried at the court, is celebrated by many in Croatia for his role in the war for Croatian independence, referred to in the country as the Homeland War. 1,500 Croatian war veterans marched through Zagreb in support of Gotovina and the two other generals, and they have announced plans for other protests in the capital Zagreb. Josip Jurcevic, of the association “Action for a Better Croatia”, which will join the rally said that it would be a D-Day for Croatia, adding that it was not just the generals who were on trial but the entire country for “a joint criminal enterprise” as alleged in the indictment. A statement from the Croatian Bishops Conference before the verdict called on Croats to remain calm, while expressing dissatisfaction with the Hague tribunal’s assessment of Operation Storm. “Just as we have called on believers to pray and fast for a just verdict, and because there was a just verdict, we now hypocritically appeal to Croatian citizens to tell lies and make excuses, and slander the innocent Serbian victims of this Croatian joint criminal enterprise,” a statement by the Catholic bishops said. Croatian Serb refugees in Serbia, meanwhile, say they hope the verdict will clear the way for a substantive dialogue with Croatia on outstanding problems concerning housing, property and other difficulties they face as refugees and returnees.

100% yes. ALL crimes should be prosecuted.

It also highlights the need for truth and reconcilliation. Until ALL crimes are investigated and the circumstances publicised, different groups will never move forward.

The governments of the EU and USA should be forced to read and publicise the results to reverse the misinformation and bias they have spun on the former Yugoslavia.
