"Who has an urge to be visible and govern other people is probably a criminal to begin with. "

Not necessarily.

This is why I did say "probably". There are famous exceptions, do we agree with them or not. Unfortunately these are as I said exceptions. You can see hundreds of non-exceptions in parliament(s) all over the world - some are well-known, some aren't that successful, but they share the same trait.

I do not trust a single politician and in the real life try to shield myself. I try not to expose my political view either, except the B92 where I can let the steam of frustration out. I have some limited visibility - but never search for "Je¿" or "Ataman". It is done by purpose, in the real life everything is politically neutral and politically correct for everyone. Call me a coward.

Not necessarily. But if you are corrupt and criminal and want to get easy money for yourself or the pockets of your buddies, or you to provide well payed jobs for your widespread family clan in the government or public companies, being a high ranking person is a good base. Furthermore, if your 'main business' could be disturbed by police officers and judges which are doing their job, filling these positions with your buddies and former comrades might be a good idea, too.

If opposition parties (mostly with a nationalistic extremist background) on both sides (Kosovo and Serbia) oppose the dialogue and want to end it, it proves that a compromise has been reached.

Note, that the ones in the government used to be the pupils who received the worst notes in the school but had the best connections to other kids and landed up leading some groups or gangs. Why do we listen to an ex-loser like that and not to a math teacher is a mystery for me.

Kosovo Albanians are suffering from a corrupt and criminal government, widepsread illiteracy and a huge lack on valid information, since the albnanian media landscape is a mess, just parroting official statements and promisses that recognitions and economic upturn is "coming soon". It is bloodcurdling ridiculous hearing officials promissing rapid visa free traveling and EU memebership.
