The Croatian coastal town of Split will build monuments to honor Franjo Tuđman and Pope John Paul II, the local administration decided.

I love the idea, but please don't commission the same sculptor that did Clinton in Kosovo.

Somehow I find the whole thing tasteless. The monument could never live up to Jesus statute in Rio and would be a crime to try to replicate it!

No problem at all: sparrows, mascots of the capital city in a nearby country will "honor" these monuments decorating them as deserved.

it only gets tougher and tougher. The EU is getting into debt, the domino effect is happening, and now Italy is getting into problems. Let the EU be the saviour of Croatia, they really deserve it.
