Kosovo recognition “not condition for EU”

That seems pretty clear. Now, it is certainly possible for Germany to change its mind. However, given that they never recognized East Germany, as he said, it would be hard for Germany to claim that Serbia now must recognize Kosovo Albanians' UDI.

"All conditions that Serbia will need to fulfill as a EU candidate are included in the pre-accession negotiations and EU founding treaties, and were defined in the 1990s,”

... and are still valid until now. It should be obvious for anyone that recognizing Kosovo can never be a condition for new EU members, with Kosovo not being recognized by 5 existing EU states as well as the majority of the 192 EU member states.

On the planet of Kosovo where everything is different from reality, maybe? Joking aside, it was just a type, I meant 192 UN member states, of course (soon 193, when South Sudan will become a new member)

Even without Serbia recognizing Kosovo I heard Kosovars keep living. I don't know how is that possible? I guess Serbia is not the centre of Universe.

We are never going to recognize our southern province and will continue to keep you in the box until the day comes the Serbian army will free our province from the occupators and Albanian terrorists!
Maybe you Albanians are laughing now,but believe me,we Serbs will be laughing in the end!

Just a small correction, that only about 20 UN member states have said they don't recognize Kosovo (76 have said they recognize and the rest has not said anything).

Serbia will never become a memeber of the EU if it goes on acting the way it has in the past. One of the basic principles of our understanding of democracy simply is to respect peoples wills. This means that it also has to respect the will of all Kosovars, who never, ever would want to live under serbian rule again. Face your past, and learn from the rest of Europe, like Hiungry who lost part of it's terroriry after WWI, or Germany who went through the same thing after WWII. The only way Serbia could get back Kosovo is with another war, and than Serbia would have to face a population in Kosovo who would rightfully fight it to their last drop of blood. Do you really want that? Wake up, and face your past, you can only gain from it.

why can't the people of Serbia end the problem between the EU and Kosovo,come out and vote in a referendum,if you choose Kosovo over EU so be it,your government have to stop any further dealings with the EU regarding membership,i still don't know why the EU and Serbian government cant come out clean on this issue. Kosovo will never give up it's independence, Serbia government said they will never accept Kosovo UDI,the EU will never accept Serbia with out recognizing Kosovo's independence.KOSOVO OR EU MEMBERSHIP choose one.do not vote here on b92.make it known to your leaders that you want to vote on this issue and put it to rest.do not be fooled you cant get both Kosovo and eu.

In the pool by b92 93% of 3200 people that have vote do not believe that.

you are correct... They did not make any word, big or small. They simply did not say whether they recognize or don't recognize. So the count still stands about 20 who have said they don't recognize and 76 who have said they recognize.
