Excuse me Agim, and "based in reality", but you avoid the central point: the EU can't and won't recognize Kosovo because the EU requires unanimous agreement among all EU members for recognition, and obviously, except the countries who want to use Kosovo as a satellite colony, there is not unanimous recognition within the EU as you know. Secondly, it can't be a legitimate member of the UN as is Serbia because it won't be allowed in by Russia and China, the country that finances the US; it is disputed territory whose most famous industry is organ trafficking. Consequently, Kosovo is simply at most a still-born territory that will have to return to Serbia as an autonomous province: Kosovo has nowhere to go; no EU and no UN. Serbia is far more respected due to its emphasis on a diplomatic solution and insistence on international law; Kosovo is just a mistake in judgment by some Western powers, again, with nowhere to go.

"According to your logic, small minority of EU countries , prevails ovah 90% of majority. Good thinking."
(Agim Kelmendi, 9 July 2011 23:21)

Maybe it's very hard to comprehend for a Kosovo Albanian, but in the EU even 10% minorities are respected - nothing is done unilaterally. Furthermore, EU member states are free to have their own state policy in most fields.

I guess he must be doing something right after all.

(Billy, 10 July 2011 01:32)

Sure... remember when he was saying 500 times a day that the ICJ will bring the solution and Albanians were laughing at him? They laugh today even louder since that jammed his arrogant mouth with excrements. He does this again, and it is entertaining.

Hello Mr Wolf.... you can keep lying to the Serbian people about the present governments agenda regarding Kosovo & Metohija. No we wont recognise KIM , no, no, no etc..but in fact all you are doing is hoping that this stance will sell your government to the people at the next elections.
Hoping to retain power so that you can sell out what is left of our country.
Well guess what buddy, we see right through you and Tadic and all the other power hungry "reformers" and dictators in the present government.
Your time is at an end along with your illustrious leader Tadic... adios amigos ! Serbias worst government in history.

Do you really think they respect Kosovo?? Only a child would think so.

Nothing new in your post typical Serbian nationalist point of view. But in answer to your question, Do you think they really respect Serbia in its actions toward Kosovo? The west is trying to show diplomacy, but do not confuse that with respect. They reject your claims on Kosovo, and treat Kosovo as an equal to Serbia.

Because the EU itself can't recognize Kosovo since there is no internal consensus, the EU good neighbor policy is achieved because Serbia has good relations with its neighbors: Kosovo can't be a neighbor since it is not an independent state, according to the EU. Pristina acts like an obedient colony of certain Western powers, which is precisely why those Western powers recognized it in the first place. Do you really think they respect Kosovo?? Only a child would think so.

You have, and you will further recognize....you just don't know it yet.

Serbia's stance regarding its province of Kosovo is certainly consistent with international law in general, and specifically UNSC Resolution 1244. It's so-called UDI is not recognized by the EU (just some nations within it), and it is not recognized by the majority of nations, including Russia, China, India, Brazil, etc., i.e. it can't get into the United Nations as an independent nation. So, at most, it is only disputed territory, and legally, it continues to rightfully be a province of Serbia. Ultimately, since Serbia and the aforementioned countries will never recognize it, it will have to negotiate its autonomous status within Serbia itself. Because the EU itself can't recognize Kosovo since there is no internal consensus, the EU good neighbor policy is achieved because Serbia has good relations with its neighbors: Kosovo can't be a neighbor since it is not an independent state, according to the EU. Mr Jeremic, you must be confused.
I believe a good neighborly relations is required to join the EU. You know that ..right.So Kosova is your neighbor right.
wake up mr jeremic, and stop having these bizarre dreams.Kosova has been an independent country for over 3 years. Maybe you will realize it someday, but as of today, you are only 3 years behind.

Didn't you promise that this will take place this year, Vuce? What is in your way?

"He added that Belgrade would not recognize Kosovo's independence."

Funny that you have to repeat that over and over again, when your own propaganda claims that this is not criteria. You ever heard about the Freudian slip? You just gave us a vivid example of it. To bad for you that you can repeat that useless claim as often you like. It won't change the fact that what many already say louder and clearer. Actually, it cannot be denied. But we understand that you need to keep that illusion. What alternatives you have, anyway? None. And that is your problem.

Dead End!
