Come and live in the real world, and don't act like aliens from another planet. And what about the will of the people in Kosovo. It is unbelievable how these clown in Belgrade act as if they are the only one's in the Balkan. Kosovo is an independ country, and the overwhelming majority of the people who live there, would never accept to be annexed by Serbia. So, what about the will of the people who live in a country Belgrade talks about? If Serbia wants that, or ever tries to do that, it would end in another Balkan war. Nobody in the West would be on Serbias side in that case. Before Serbia doesn't realize the reality on the Balkan, and Kosovo is a reality, there won't be a place in the EU for that country. It's time to face the reality, and stop talking this nonsense, or do you really want another war?

"Why don't have a nation wide referendum on the question: "Shall we Serbs continue the efforts to join EU if Serbia is required to recoginze Kosova? [sic]" (miri)

-- Come to think of it, why not have a referendum in every aspiring country? I'd be curious to see the levels of support. But then again, referenda were never the preferred avenue by Brussels since it chips away the illusion the EU membership is a widely accepted idea.

@miri - why onky a nation wide referendum? If you think it is fair for people outside of Kosovo to have a say in the future of the people living in Kosovo, would it not also be fair if people outside of Serbia had a say in the future of Serbia?

The peoples of Serbia should vote on whether EU membership is more important than Serbia's deed to Kosovo but really this referendum need not happen for the next 10 years until Serbia is faced with this condition.Until then adopting high standards in all fields is important to improving the living standrds of all Serbs regardless of whether Serbia ever becomes a full member or stays like Norway and Switzerland outside the political union although their economies are completely integrated wih those of he EU.

How about of the will of citizens of Kosovo?
Should be respected or who cares about them.
Is more important the will of some people in Subotica or Belgrade about people in Kosovo, than the will of people in Kosovo about themseves?
Ask people of Kosovo Vuk and you'll get the answer:We are independent of Serbia.

That's like saying FM Hoxha stated that the "issue" between Kosovo-Serbia should not be an obstacle to joining UN.

Go back to kindergarten you clown.

Thanks,

Why don't have a nation wide referendum on the question: "Shall we Serbs continue the efforts to join EU if Serbia is required to recoginze Kosova?"

Why play with words like "constitution", "moral right". If the will of people is what you want, what is the better way to get it than a referendum?

My assumption is that whichever way the result of that referendum will be, Tadic's government will look stupid since they will have to give up on one of the two things they promised, EU and Kosovo. These two objections are mutually exclusive.

Something for you to learn from, Mr. Jeremic.
