Serbian President Boris Tadić traveled to London on Sunday to support <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=07&dd=03&nav_id=75255" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Novak Đoković in his first Wimbledon final</a>.

"Watching the final, as a Serbian citizen, I almost died," Tadić confided in our reporter.
Almost don't count.

"Mladic trial is simply more important news in the world than someone winning a tennis match."

No really! I didn't see Mladic face on any newspapers this morning. It was all about Djokovic.
By the way, Mladic is not on trail. He has already been convicted. Case closed!

Budimir, SCP - I fail to understand why both Tadic and Jeremic were invited to Djokovic's camp to celebrate the victory. I mean nobody could be more protective of Djokovic's reputation than his own father, right?

@ Budimir.
Not everything revolves around Serbs and their sensitivities.
Mladic trial (which was scheduled last month to be today, no conspiracy here) is simply more important news in the world than someone winning a tennis match.

Hey Boris... Maybe you should find time to bring your ass to Pec, Decani or K. Mitrovica to show support to those you "represent". Nole does just fine without your presence.

There is not an ounce of patriotism in Tadic, he is only there to congradulate Djokovic because it is politically viable. Its interesting to watch the coverage of Djokovic here in the US. The main stream media is uncomfortable with a Serb winning wimbeldon so they balance the coverage of Novak with loud reports about Mladic. As a matter of fact, this morning on CNN there were more references to Mladic than Novak-in the CNN culture Serbs cannot be shown in a good light-if there is something that they must report which shows Serbs as humans-it must be countebalanced with negative, racist sterotypical coverage. This is what we serbs here in the west have to live with.
As far as Tadic is concerned, he can shake hands with Serbs like Novak and kiss babies while smiling for the cameras-but we all know what he is and soon enough well rid Serbia of him and his cohorts. They have done enough damage to our people-its time they move back to Montenegro!

I hope this is not an attempt by B92 to try and portray Tadic as still having some patriotic credentials, this is of course a load of rubbish as any intelligent person can see by his policies towards the EU and the poor handling of Kosovo. Like when he stood up at the end and raised the three finger salute, he seems to think people are stupid and wont recognise that was purposefully for the cameras. Shame on him for using Djokovic's great victory as a publicity opportunity.
