''Nice try but that won't help you gain more recognitions. Maybe just 3 or 4 of islamic countries i.e. american servants will recognize that thing as independent state and that's it. That would be all!
(neko iz mase, 2 July 2011 19:29) ''

probably, but as soon as the number hits 98, it won't matter wether those countries were islamic, jewish or christian...

If Serbia wants closer ties with RS this is wrong. When Albania recognizes illegal Kosovo indepence this is right? Well, yah, right!
No double standards please!
(Ron, 3 July 2011 03:50)

There is no double standard... everybody is just acting in accordance with international law. An eventual UDI by RS would be illegal under international law, whereas the Kosovo UDI was not. Serbia, as the chief upholder of international law, should now this very well :)

The fate of the Balkans was given to RUS in backroom deals that led up to the invasion of Libya.

Anyway, that's bad news for Serbia (as part of the balkans) !

So-called "independent Kosovo" is illegitimate legally
(Michael, 2 July 2011 21:40)

Sure, the UDI was illegal under Serbia's Constitution... Unfortunately, beside Serbia, nobody else cares about Serbia's Constitution because they don't have to !

"21 years later Kosovo is recolonized by 76 countries it sure looks very positive for Kosovo, this seems so long ago."
(Bilbao, 3 July 2011 01:14)

"Recolonized"? Was this a Freudian mistake, or simply a case of bad English, I wonder :)

Let the Albanians "lobby", other states will think twice to recognize a state goverened by alleged criminals with mafia connections, corrupt ministers and election fakers.

@Akim: One can discuss whether Kosovo statehood has failed, maybe it has. But to call 22 EU member states "dubious" seems a bit strange to me.

Proof that this Kosovo projet is in fact an Albanian project. If Kosovo is not about Albanians but about Kosovars, then why Albania is doing this?

Naah Agim...Few years ago it was unsure if Kosovo would be a new country or not. Now its crystal clear. It wont. 100%. Mark my words and stay updated. ;-)

Same person that was 100% sure that ICJ will go Serbias favor and that your so called internal contacts. You dont speak of ICJ no longer or any other SERB.

Today 21 years ago Kosovo wanted to be a Republic in so Called Ygoslavia you turned it down and step up the abuse of Albanians.

21 years later Kosovo is recolonized by 76 countries it sure looks very positive for Kosovo, this seems so long ago.

But hey lets wait and see there was positive move by Serbia and Kosovo in solvig everyday issues they dont need to be friends. And Albanians have more at hand than Serbia will ever freely agree to give them so let time pass as long as Albanians are happy I think this is great.

Cheers and lets wait and see what next 10 years bring we could all be positively surprised.

There will be no more positive recognitions, since it is a sign of an abscene on seriousnes to do that. Only dubious countries have recognized Kosovo in the past years, one more reason not to do that for those who want to be respected. Kosovo has become a stage for human and drug trafficking. No one, neither Serbs nor honorable Albanians wanted this kind of Kosovo. The Kosovo statehood has definitely failed.

Another example of Albanian disrespect for international law and specifically UNSC Resolution 1244. Despite the attempts of certain countries in the West to turn the Serbian province of Kosovo into their puppet satellite, a so-called "independent state", the rest of the world isn't buying it, and realize what is happening. Bravo to Vuk Jeremic, in particular, and others in the Serb Government for upholding the principle of international law and territorial integrity: and bravo to the rest of the world for upholding the same and their wisdom. So-called "independent Kosovo" is illegitimate legally, and will ultimately have to reconcile with Belgrade after certain countries in the West get sick of subsidizing their mistake.

Nice try. NOTHING will stop re-integration, no amount of by-passing the UN by co-opting intl. organizations will be enough. The fate of the Balkans was given to RUS in backroom deals that led up to the invasion of Libya.

The action prompted the Serbian parliamentary delegation to lodge a firm protest.

Is Vuk and his third world bodies doing the same thing in Serbia's favour? Lets see who will prevail in 2-3 years!
I will have the last laugh.
