Phew...now that's a mouth full.

Always resorting to childish name-calling, grouping and labeling of individuals.

Pathetic pattern of behavior in order to feel in control.

I can't believe the bloody French. The Americans, well ok, but the French have clear evidence to the contrary of what they were proposing. Just another example of trying to falsify facts.

And what was the answer? Don't keep me in the dark! Enlighten me and dozens of other scholars who generally leave you people out when discussing Balkan cultural heritage. If there's any bolted doors in Decani, it's to keep you people from looting it :)

Ej, stari - it's much more than that. Decani monastery is famous for two pictures allegedly showing extra-terrestial spaceships, they are slightly under the dome, around the crucifixion, one space ship on each side.

These are the Jedi ancestors of Albanians, coming to Earth 2 million years ago straight from Coruscant. Who else would show up in a space ship around Golgotha if not a genuine Albanian Jedi?

Tihuacan, Tallin and Tokyo are full of them. You have to look hard enough.

Mostly Tihuacan of course. Bird-Serpent god Quetzalcoatl devouring human organs was the direct ancestor of Pigeon-Snake mafia.

I will reiterate: anyone who wishes to have a fuller sense of what is really going on in the balkans MUST go beyond the "news" from this site, and read the BBC, Balkan Insight, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, Pescanik, and of course other press as well. It just goes without saying.

(Ataman, 30 June 2011 14:38)

Related stuff. I DO NOT have any facebook presence, except a non-descript ID I can look up. People, really - facebook is primarily for YOUR BUSINESS, helping spreading the word about what you do for living. Our company is extremely conservative even with that (we have no presence by intent) but this is probably way to extreme.

No pictures of yourself, no pictures of family, lovers, kids, parents, not even pets.

I can describe my wife somewhat anti-Russian and somewhat pro-Albanian. She is a teacher.

Looking at the whole Dragana/Dragan story, at the curriculum and activities on-line she answered my question: "if you are a principal - would you employ that guy as a teacher" with a very firm "NO".

Besides, some organizations are interested in such background and may have their watch list. Does not prevent to travel - but really does anyone like to get even a minor attention of organizations having three letters?

Crazy. But one is true... the dogs who bark rarely bite and are often powerless. Go, Roberto, bark more stuff. Woof, woof.

Robert Leonard Rope being a major idiot is nothing new. What amazes me is not his rant, but that he exposes all his underpants (literally) to all the Serbs, Russians, Poles, Ukrainians, Balarussians he loves to hate. He should have iron-clad trust in the goodness of these people. Indeed, the other side is more reserved to expose who-is-who, we learned what can happen with busses which carry Serbs or EULEX cars.

Besides teasing with Dragan being Dragana Robert does not faces anything. I am 100% sure if he wants he can get his 1-year multiple-entry Belarus, the Russian visa is now 3-year for him and he does not need to worry about visas to Serbia at all. Not that he would be harmed in any way. Even business permit is not a problem - clowns are welcome to entertain. I did read a lot of literature about architecture in Kosovo since fairly early age, so let's hear what someone says who can't distinguish written Croatian from written Albanian. What an idiot.

BTW: being firmly embedded in LGBT community and being a passionate Zionist is a burden of the life, everyone has a burden. Being a first-class idiot + a major ***hole is a "feature" 100% independent of the two burdens above and a much bigger one.

....Pogradec....
(mick, 30 June 2011 09:48)

After many years of forced "albanization" still many Serbs/Macedonians/Bulgarians live in the Pogradec area. They are afraid to speak openly, but if anyone is in that area is always worth to try. You can be surprised! (NOT!).

The presence of Albanians as mountain tribes is well-recorded by Romans - they had to keep one legion in Moesia to protect the locals (the Illyrians, Greeks, Roman - later Germanic and Slavonic colonists) from the raids of mountain people. Their "business" was looting and rapine.

Claiming "Illyrian" ancestry is bizarre - these were savage mountaineers, not even seafarers like famous Illyrian pirates. Not just the geographic names got imported - the Albanians "somehow" forgot about business at sea, they learned it only very late.

Albanian pirates did not appear earlier than 18th century, their well-known pirate center was Ulcinj. Many were simply "albanized" Greeks or Slavs or Turks.

Absolutely, do you want to start from Nis, meaning "First" in Albanian, the Damned Mountains (Bjeshket e Nemuna) streching into Kosovo, or the region of Dukagjin, also starting from Albania and into Kosovo....Do you want to continue with the Canon of Lek Dukagjin, clearly displaying the ancient laws, customs, traditions and rules of Albanians, in the region way before you descented from Carpathians.

What is exatly the culture of your own you have. Your church is from Byzantine, forced in Balkans by an Albanian from Nis (Constantine), your language is that of Russians from Siberia, your identity is same as well. No wonder why Serbs slaughtered albanologist Dr. Milan Sufflay in early 1930s, after he did extensive studies and brought up many historical truth about Serbian "heritage" in the Balkans and especially in Kosovo. Take a look at an medival map, and see how did Old Raska look like.
(Denis, 29 June 2011 22:31)

In what world do you live?

Nis old roman name is Naissus and id later bacame NIS.
YOu can change Mitrovica to mitrovice or djakovica to djakove but that doesnt make it Albanian.
Furthermore Your own country albania was part of the Serbian Empire in the 14th Century.
look at the place names, most have serbian origin (slavic) some greek and turkish.
To name a few: Berat,Durres,Shkoder,Pogradec,Korcha,Divjake, maliq, bulgarec, pojan, corovode, leskovik, pepel, livadhja, nivice, lubonje, lezhe, rraboshte, boric, kacinar, radomire, bushtrice, petkaj, skavice and so on.......
Even albanized you can see the Serbian element in it!
So what Serbs contributet much to the byzantines and romans, in the past and half of europe got the church from byzantines, not only serbs and aslo your own orthodox albanians.
Russia conquerd Sibiria in the 17th Century, The russian Kingdom was created in the 9th Century, the First Serbian Balkan state was created in the 7th Century do the math!
And what is your prove that people immigrated from behind the carpathian mountains? Did you know that in Russian history books its the way around their forefathers came from behind the carpathian mountains!
meaning from the balkans.
There is another place in Europe in Eastern Germany there lives a people who calls themselves Serbs (germans say Sorbs).
but as you see we kept our name other slavs lost that name, the alternative name for Serbs is rashans, SAR-RAS, Russian call themselvs Rossija it has ras in it.

And we are all part of the bigger group slav, wich means celebrated people or people who have overcome.

As I said before our history is still far away from the thruth!
So Mister Denis, dream on all of the balkans have proves that if not serbs other slavs lived there , Yes even before the romans!

And what show alabnia? all albanized non albanian placenames, so before you claim the whole balkans, study your own origin and history instead of insulting or lower our rich serbian history!
We Slavic people have a more richer History/origin then is known!

At last Kosovo was 98% Serbian in 1450 according to the ottoman Cencus!

Thank you Denis. it is really unfortunate that the militant Serbian extremist nationalist diaspora memebers hold a virtual stranglehold over this site. it wasn't always that way, but why cry over ancient history?

From my pov, these landmarks are the heritage of both Serbia and Kosova -- it is just ridiculous to argue otherwise. but jeremic is a Radical, as are so many that come to this site, so what else should we expect?

Speaking of which, as I have been writing for MANY years, not all Serbs are Radical nationalists. of course there are the intellectual dissidents of belgrade, sonia biserko among them, who represent the best and brightest of serbia. they are nearly completely marginalized by the "post" milosevic press, unless they temporarily escape the iron curtain as sonia did a few months ago, to make her report to brussels. then their press had to give a tiny notice, short shrift. otherwise, nada. shame on you, Belgrade's so-called journalists! really how do you people sleep at night?

I will reiterate: anyone who wishes to have a fuller sense of what is really going on in the balkans MUST go beyond the "news" from this site, and read the BBC, Balkan Insight, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, Pescanik, and of course other press as well. It just goes without saying.

Hopefully we will eventually see the rise/ strengthening of multi-ethnic pol parties in both Kosova and in serbia (aside from the Liberals), despite of and because of the virtual stranglehold of the serbian nationalists. milosevic is dead but sadly his ideas continue to resonate all too strongly

Wow, I had no idea you Albos have such a rich culture and that we Serbs stole it all from you, but my favourite part is “an Albanian from Nis (Constantine)”.

I hjad no idea that Constantine was an Albanian I always thought he was the son of a Roman General and his mother was Greek, but hey who looks at these things – what’s important is that he is an Albanian.

I m most interested to know if Serbian Churches are Byzantine as well as the architecture, perhaps you might enlighten us with your worldy knowledge of where did the design for Mosques come from?

The problem with Milan Sufflay and a lot of other Croats is simple. There is an old urban Austrian story goes something like “ the Austro-Hungarian Emperor was tired of hearing complaints from Croats so he sign a blank sheet of paper and sent out a high ranking official to ask the Croats to write what they wanted and it would granted. The high ranking official returned to the Emperor’s court with the blank sheet of paper”.

After WW1 Ante Pavleic was part of a delegation to beg the Serbian King to be a part of Yugoslavia and 20 years later the rest is history.

You might want to list all the Albanian cultural heritage in Kosovo – it shouldn’t take too long as writing the word NOTHING will be quick.

The pattern and similarities are very clear: the same rage, the same nonsense, and always one of the first ones to post a comment. The question is: is "Agim" Lenard's Albanian alter-ego or is "Lenard" Agim's Croatian alter-ego? As far as I am concerned B92 should ban both because of intentional insult of a whole ethnic group and its culture based on personal short-sightedness, lack of tolerance, and obvious personal shortcomings on an emotional level. People like "Agim" and "Lenard" make no contribution to this site whatsoever and spill their hate to score some points with their fellow village computer warriors and for personal satisfaction and glorification.

Robert Leonard Rope being a major idiot is nothing new. He should have iron-clad trust in the goodness of these people. Indeed, the other side is more reserved to expose who-is-who, we learned what can happen with busses which carry Serbs or EULEX cars.

Besides teasing with Dragan being Dragana Robert does not faces anything. I am 100% sure if he wants he can get his 1-year multiple-entry Belarus, the Russian visa is now 3-year for him and he does not need to worry about visas to Serbia at all. ....Pogradec....

I will invite anybody, including b92 reporters to go to Decani Monastery and take a good look at what am I talking about.

I wonder what it is that you can see there that experts cannot.
Next time you should be on the panel and bring your argument forward.

Phew...now that's a mouth full.

Always resorting to childish name-calling, grouping and labeling of individuals.

Pathetic pattern of behavior in order to feel in control.

....Pogradec....

Just hot off the press the Olympic Committee has announced that Stone Throwing and Chuch Burning have been officially included as sporting activities for London 2012. I think it will be Gold, Gold, Gold for Albania.

But, Father Sava is very cleaver , yet he is very moderate and he gave me an evasive answer. As an Anthropologist, you should go and see for yourself.
(Agim Kelmendi, 30 June 2011 07:54)

I can't believe the bloody French. The Americans, well ok, but the French have clear evidence to the contrary of what they were proposing. Just another example of trying to falsify facts.
