Mullah Erdogan's prestige in the Arab world has been rising steadily since he called for jihad against israel last year.The last time Turkish flags were carried through the streets of Middle Eastern capitals was during the first world war, as people took to the streets in continued support for the Ottoman sultan-caliph against the western entente powers.

Although Erdogan's PR actions may play well with domestic and middle-eastern audiences it does nothing to help the palestinian cause which has been used as a stepping stone by Erdogan to carry out the islamisation of Turkey.

In the meantime both israel and turkey continue their cosy military relations.Turkey has received the first batch of Israeli Eitan drones which are tested in south east turkey.Furthermore ,there are contracts worth $4 billion for purchases of military hardware from israel and also
modernisation of the turkish airforce.So much for Erdogan's fighting for the Palestinian cause.

This is nothing but a publicity stunt. If they were serious about supplying Gaza with food and medicine, why not just use the Rafah crossing.

Ian please tell me why being a Zionist makes someone a racist,when as i said in my previous post it is a person or movement that believes in a homeland for the Jews.
As for there being Jews who oppose Zionism,they are a very small minority mainly Ultra Orthodox Neturi Karta and a handful of socialists and Marxists Jews.

Thanks - than this flotilla is a huge PR bullcrap again - to make Arabs feel cozy about Caliph (and mullah) Erdogan whose mandate is handed down by Tengri, the Turanian God of Skies ... ooops, what a mistake, I mean, Allah, of course. ;-)

Also you should learn what Anti-Semitism means... well what it meant before Zionists hijacked the term. It's literal meaning is being against/ opposed to Semitic people such as Arabs, Hebrews, Berbers ect. Therefore I love to laugh at people who refer to Hamas as being Anti-Semitic.

Also not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jews, therefore opposing Zionism isn't opposing Judaism.

However non-Zionist Jews are usually ridiculed and made to feel small by been labelled as "Self Hating Jews". Take me for example, there are many Jewish people I idolise, I have a handful of Jewish friends; however if I criticise Israel I get labelled "Anti-Semitic" on online forums. I may criticise Israel politically however I think it is a great country culturally and historically. But that just so happens to be the world we live in.
