It has been obvious since separation from Serbia,Montenegro
Government is trying desperately to separate themselves culturaly
from everything what could be identified as Serbian. Therefore,
all Serbs of Montenegro should rally around their SPC and demand full
autonomy so they can preserve their religious and cultural identity.
The Serbs of Montenegro meets necessary numbers as minority for
self rule.Autonomy is certainly achievable, therefore should be immediately pursue using ALL Legal non violent means. Its unfortunate but true communism died just about every where except in Montenegro,Government
does not believe in God or any religion ,they just want create something to destroy SPC so they can easily convert, evict and marginalize Serbs living on territory of Montenegro. From my perspective,Serbs future and existence would be very bleak without AUTONOMY.

"So if more people are calling them Serbs, than the very future of an independent Montenegro becomes doubtful."

Are you suggesting that independent CG would be divided and or returned to Serbia? Despite the fact that a large amount of CG citizens declare themselves Serbs, Albo, Roma, Bosniak, Croatian, and finally "Montenegrin", don't fool yourself into thinking that the country will further split. While I do feel that the instigation of a Montenegrin church doesn't help in keeping the much needed Serb citizens happy, but with talk like yours we need to make sure we don't ever return to the craziness of 90's. Yugo and then Serb nationalism never truly promoted any investment into the CG economy / infrastructure. To declare independence and take better control of ones own destiny was a natural reaction. The separation of the church seems to be one step along that road. For the sake of Christiandom, I don't support further schismatic actions, but further autonomy of the Montenegrin church may not be such a bad thing.

A responsible Serbian gov't would in turn fund the SPC in Montenegro and do everything it can to undermine the artificial creation that is the CPC. What had happen was more people in Montenegro declared themselves as Serbs than the last census that was done in 2003. That obviously worries the regime because I mean the whole reason they are able to be heads of state is because of artificially creating a separate nationality. So if more people are calling them Serbs, than the very future of an independent Montenegro becomes doubtful.

Its been getting worse since Djukanovic endorsed a seperate church. The irony is that Serbs are better off in CRO than CG and that it's Orthodox ex-Serbs who are the worst persecutors of loyal Serbs.
