Simple and easy: 5 out of 27 EU members don't recognize Kosovo, being created based on a UDI. This is a principled stance (territorial integrity of UN member states) and won't change unless an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will be reached. Serbia might be the 6th EU member state, one day.

Why the hell should Serbia recognize Kosovo if the majority of UN memeber states don't? Stupid.

Serbia will never be the 6th in the EU to not recognized Kosovo independence, You know that Serbia is not getting into the EU without the matter between Kosovo and Serbia being resolved. Full recognition may never happen but a release of claims on Kosovo territory will be a necessity. Once Serbia drops its claim on Kosovo the other countries have no reason not to recognize.
As far as over half the nations in the UN, they have no vested interest in whether the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia is ever resolved. Believe it or not but neither Kosovo nor Serbia is a big issue to the majority of the world. But Kosovo and its status and Serbias resolution of the matter is a big deal to Serbia.
As far as the stupid comment, don't know who it is for but you usually do not resort to the typical response of your peers in trying to verbally denigrate others that simply do not agree with you. But if you reread your comment you may want to take it in self reflection.

And tear up the kumanovo agreement - they did not follow 1244 - why should you follow kumanovo?

There is no agreement being kumanovo or 1244 that would Serbia follow, unless she was forced to. You should have known this by now.

What do you mean by "they" ? Excluding the Kosovo Albanians whose UDI, according to ICJ, did not violate 1244, who are the "they" who did not follow 1244?

Seriously, how many days more we have to endure that lies coming from the Serbian political class, ever since the German MPs made their very clear statements? Do they really think that a lie has to be repeated only that enough so that the people is going to buy it? Or do they simply believe that the Serbian people is only that stupid?

Seriously, even me cannot stand that lies any more.

Stop the denial. Everybody knows those will demand kosovo recognition at the last minute. Serbia is wasting its time and resources appeasing those cretins. Focus on trading with the rest of the world. And tear up the kumanovo agreement - they did not follow 1244 - why should you follow kumanovo?

When a thief is caught by the police he or she doesn't say yes I did it right away, he or she has to talk to lawyer first. Serb politicians are doing the same, denying the obvious.

The copenhagen criteria need's to be fullfilled. Read it and then you know what you have to do.

You consider your people to be idiots when you say recognition of Kosovo is not an condition. Having good neighbourly relations is a condition for every country and not just Serbia.
