JohnBoy whats up with all that ranting and raving or should we call you JohnSerbBoy. The U.S. dose not contribute financially to Croatia not like to other nations military billions every year we pay our own way it is quite the opposite. We help you in Afghanistan yore troops are inbeded in our contingent their train yore troops how to not come back in body bags or maimed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IP6guoijUQ&feature=related . At the same time we train Afghan ground forces and their air force http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyg-lqH7YdM&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL .

As a Serb-American, I welcome the statements from the president of Croatia. Full normalization of relations can only come from the return of Serb refugees from Croatia back into Croatia with full civil rights and equal protection under the law for them. In addition, Serbia and Croatia must mutually dismiss their lawsuits against each other. It is certainly in the best interests of both countries to fully normalize and create cooperative relations for peace and stability. Both Croatia and Serbia can experience greater prosperity through high quality relations, rather than antagonism, or worse. I am hopeful.

@JohnBoy: You're an American, your interests are wholly different from that of people actually living in the Balkans. It is stupid to condemn a person talking for better relations between nations for absolutely unconnected reasons.

Croatia needs Serbia, but Serbia does not need Croatia. As far as South Stream is concerned, a branch pipeline is going through Hungary so who cares how the Croats feel.

The EU has run out of money so Croatia is looking to Serbia to try and save it self from financial collapse.

This croat can go to hell. I and other americans have to live with a 14.3 trillion dollar debt our stupid government rang up by supporting them and other loser bums around the world. croteland has always been on the wrong side of history and has a lot of historical skeletons riding on its back. They think taking a picture with boris clooney changes all of that.

YES! I was right again. Josipovic's Serbophilic statement on this occasion is cryptic: with both states in the S.Stream, harmonizing interests is inevitable and the 1st concrete step in reviving the SFRJ that so many Croats want, as was posted on B92 relatively recently. 'More than autonomy, less than independence' will work in CRO, BiH, CG, MK & maybe SLO.
