If Nazis weren't allowed to get away with murder, Serbs of so-called 'republika srpska' will not be allowed to get with murder neither.

Nazis did get away with murder. Croatian fascists got away with it. How many were punished for Jasenovac?

I sometime ask myself why people pay to much to that person as "persona non grata in Bosnia and Herzegovina".
Dodik knows very well what is already prepared from him form USA. He is rushing to put all possible options on the table before USA and Great Britain decides a new model for B&H. After Mladic and other war criminals get charged fro the war crimes and genocide, Dodik is well aware that is over with smaller entity in Bosnia. Everybody know that Dayton Accord is temporary option before all war crimes are proven to be true and that Serbia was involve in aggression against Bosnia. Dodik is loosing the time so he will tray anything to save what can be saved, before gets late.

I don't think you've read the situation well enough Tulip. Far from an embarrassing climbdown I think Dodik ran rings around Ashton and the EU. He threatens a referendum on independence, which the vast majority of Bosnian Serbs want anyway, and the EU foreign policy chief scrambles to Banja Luka in a panic. Bosniak cheerleaders around the world scream blue murder, while Dodik sits back and chalks up another victory. He wasn't the one in a sweat, they were. So tell me who's running the show. Far from a tinpot provincial boss, me thinks he's a wily old fox who'll bide his time. As far as the usual posse screaming 'Srpska created out of genocide' you really ought to shut up and look at your own lot. Both Croatia and Kosovo came about via ethnic cleansing and massacre. Far from smelling of roses tulip I fear you display the rancid odour of hypocracy.

Given the ongoing strategy of strangling any possible avenue to state functionality it may unfold some Serb canton as part of the Bosnian political system but it certainly cannot be one gained through such reprehensible methods. If the occupied lands in eastern Bosnia, largely stagnating due to their bloody past, were to be included in Bosnia and of course Brcko and Doboi, then let the Bosnian Serbs and the immigrant Serbs have a canton around Banja Luka if that's the only way they wish to function. Providing they contribute to the federal revenue and have a commitment to peace and shared enterprises then it may finally allow Bosnia to build a future. The issues of compensation and reconciliation may be approached with a focus on reforming Bosnia's integrity as a sovereign state. As it is now all are retarded by non cooperation and misguided aspirations.

Time for 'more than autonomy, less than independence' for all ex-YU states within a new federation controled by Belgrade.

Unfortunately lenard and ivan the albo, Bosnian Serbs and the entity of Srbska is here to stay. The only question is how weak the muslims and the cry baby croats will slip. Their meaningless relationship is a joy to watch as they truly deserve each others company. Meanwhile, your envious gaze at an independent Serbian people within Bosnian just burrows into your skin...we own you...as you cannot do anything without our stamp of approval. So, can we tolerate some ranting and raving...sure...however, we continue to get stronger while you remain weak in a disfunctional "federation."

You said "imaginary Srpska entity" well maybe Srpska was artificially created, but guess what? So is the country of Bosnia and Hercegovina. It was never a state that existed on it's own and never was Sarajevo a capital city of a independent country.

And as to what Dodik said, he is right. If he said multiculturalism doesn't work he would be labeled a extremist. But now its in line with "European standards" to talk about how multiculturalism actually does not work and is not sustainable. Also Dodik, to "get in line with European standards" ban minarets and hijabs from Republika Srpska. As Belgium, Switzerland and France have all done this, it is RS time to be in line with those countries ahahahahaha.

RS, you are the pride of Serbian people. SOME of your cousins in Serbia proper have somewhat forgotten about that but it is okay now are tough times but things will all get better with "Jun. 28"

You will ALL be hearing about "Jun. 28" in the years to come!

Dodik is once again in "performance" mode. Despite his autocratic strangle hold on the RS, after his embarrassing climb-down with Ashton, he has to reassert some of his nationalist bravado.

I mean, what is one to make of Dodik, the Premier of the RS, an entity fundamentally created through genocide and ethnic cleansing, referring to Sarajevo as "ethnically pure"? It is almost comical in its perversion. The man speaks out of both sides of his mouth--Sarajevo is not multiethnic enough, he says, but when attempts are made to re-integrate the country, to promote pluralism, he is the first to shut down such projects. Which is it?

To say nothing of the fact that here we have an individual who has managed to turn the RS, essentially, into his personal possession and speaks to us of "confederalism". What is his vision of Bosnia, just so we're clear?: an extremely decentralized, apartheid state, where the individual "parts" (e.g. the RS) are individually, completely centralized. Hmm, extreme nationalism, chauvinism, a fondness for authoritarian leadership--we used to have a word for this particular political arrangement, didn't we? I believe the Germans and Italians really pioneered it.

Outside of the patently absurd (and physically impossible claim!) of "94% of 'Muslims' living in Sarajevo", it is a sad reflection of the state of Bosnian politics, particularly among Bosnian Serbs, that Dodik's ramblings are considered anything other than the pronouncements of a provincial, tinpot dictator. Delusions of grandeur, steeped in the slime of ethnic hatred and chauvinism. The "people" Dodik claims to speak for, as well as all Bosnians, deserve better.

MikeC

Dodik is right. The only way Serbs will survive in Bosnia is to gain independence. The war in the 90s was for the survival of the Serbs. Anything less then some sort of independence for RS will not move Bosnia ahead. Muslims have proved in Sarajevo that they are not tolerant of other ethic groups and religions. Serbs in Bosnia have two options: accept muslim rule and perish or gain independence and control your own lives. The choice is simple.

Their goes Dodo opening his own trap again the majority of Bosnians want your murderous genocidal "Srpska" entity to pay for its many crimes and all the criminal rebels running in it tried. Vojovodina has greater status more legitimacy more rite to be independent from Serbia then a imaginary "Srpska" (entity) from Bosnia. Keep pushing it Dodo and you will see disaster overtake the freak Srpska entity aka Greater Serbia. You can keep telling the Serbs a fantasia story and living in fantasy land of make believe Srpska entity that has no precedence or a legitimate territorial rite in Bosnia. You think Croatia and Croatians are going to support you are one loony and dangerous [link] .

The problem with Lenard is that he does not realize that no one or thing cares about his Croats in Bosnia. They picked their allies so learn to live with it.
In fact if the Serbs do not give support to the Croats they will disappear completely from Bosnia – what a delicious irony.
