"When it comes to regional events, our policy is clear. We do not want Pristina's representatives to be excluded (...)"

Why not? I thought your position was that bg is the official and only representative of all of Serbia including Kosovo, Presheva Valley, Vojvodina, Sanxhak (Sandzak), etc.

Furthermore, Kosovo was represented on equal footing as every other partner. We had no flag, you had no flag. Hoxha didn't have a title/label, neither did you. Your logic and at your request UNMIK talked first.....so what? He talked before you as well. Empty victories are empty sir.

If Kosovo's representation is clearly defined under 1244 then something has changed since pre-independence Kosovo's officials were never able to attend these high level meetings.

Let go of this rhetoric, Kosovo is independent and you're not fooling anyone.

Thanks,

JohnC.

Why Jeremic? Didn't your government also recognize the country which capital is Skopje as "Rep. of Macedonia"? I can't find such a country in the UN's list, only F.Y.R.O.M.

Not that I would care how this country is called or not, but you clearly are not persistent in what you whine about and are, therefore, a bloody talker with a the only frequent flyer card which I would call: Farer-than-heaven-and-hell status.

So long!

Well Blero it looks like you've let the cat out of the bag. 'Kosova' has access to the adriatic sea? You mean greater albania has don't you. Oh dear, I think you're the one that needs to study a map. But then I suppose you're looking at the map peddled on the streets of Tirana. The legion of Albanian comentators waxing lyrical here can delude themselves until the cows come home. But the hard truth is nobody wants to do business with you, you can't travel anywhere, you are broke and utterly intolerant of anybody who isn't Albanian. You treat your minorities like dirt and you threaten anyone who doesn't agree with you. You are all the things you accuse the Serbs of being only worse. Serbia is full of minorities who are left in peace. Kosovo has none. Even the Gorani live in fear of you. If international donors stopped pumping billions to prop you up you'd collapse tomorrow. And all this after 12 years of supposedly standing alone. Serbia has a legitimate historical stake in Kosovo. Every town, village, mountain or river has a Serbian name. The word Kosovo is Serbian. Albanizing all the names won't alter that fundamental fact. No amount of hatred and bile will ever change that. Until Pristina approaches the issue in good faith, Kosovo ain't going anywhere.

The amount of negative energy that Serbia is spending towards preventing Kosovo from becoming a member of international organizations is absolutely ridicilious. Dont think for a minute that your actions are going unnoticed by the Kosovar people. The word "shamefull" is not powerfull enough to describe Serbia's actions. Kosovars are disgusted by Serbia behaviour. "
(Jeff, 21 June 2011 17:43)

Don't overestime the Serbian influence. Most states decide on their own (apart from the 'lobbied' ones, courtesy of Pacolli) and for their own reasons to recognize Kosovo or not. And as long as Kosovo is not internationally recognized (so far, recognized by less than 50% of UN members) , it cannot join international organizations. There are some rules (most directly depend on UN membership), and international organizations usually don't have self-proclaimed but unrecognized states as members. Simple and easy.

While I congratulate Jeremic and others on their optimism, he is aware that there is unequivocal consensus among all the countries in the world that Kosovo will never be controlled by Serbia in any way, shape, or form. Vuk is also aware that he is partially responsible for that consensus, due to his IJC adventure, and the fiasco that followed.
Therefore, there is nothing left for him but to be destructive – by preventing over 2 million people from participating in regional initiatives, then what?
This does not hurt the leadership of Kosovo, but it affects its people, Kosovar Serbs included. I don’t believe that Vuk is crazy enough to think that his arrogance will force Kosovars into submission, as they had it a million times worse under Slobo, Rankovic, Tito, and they survived.
I just don’t understand what the heck is he trying to achieve? Is he trying to save face? Or maybe he is so pissed off at his failed political moves, and wants to take his anger out on Kosovo?

If I recall the foreign minister of Kosovo was with you at the meeting and neither your country's name or Kosovo's name was in display. It was a compromise agreed by both countries.

By the way why dont you try to enter Kosovo without Prishtinas permission and see what happens to you. You will very quickly get a real dose of whether Kosovo is fake or a real state.

Serbia shouldnt forget its recent horrible past and the amount of destruction it caused all over ex Yugoslavia.

Ever wonder citizens of Serbia why every single state choose to split away from Serbia? Why is it Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montengro and Kosovo all split away from Serbia. Why is it that not a single entity choose to remain in union with Serbia.

Of course it was America's doing. Thats what some people are saying here. One should think harder and the answer will become obvious. No one likes to be dominated. No one likes to be bullied.

I do not understand why is Serbia talking about Kosova's atendance to these forums where itself has no acces to either Ionian or Adriatic seas. Serbia is being treated like a big bully that no none wants them arond but they are invited to every event just to keep them off from makin a fuss. The reality is going to hit again and this time a lot harder than in 1999.
