I know this isn't really the place, but i wish to mention that Mrs. Nekibe Kelmendi, former minister of justice, has died, according to my frnd in kosova. perhaps some of you know that already. i really don't wish to politicize this, just to say now that we knew her, knew she was suffering from cancer... poor soul, her suffering is now finally over. may god bless you, nekibe.

Only B92 has the ability to stop you or me or anyone else commenting on this site. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you this.

As for my so called "being rude" to you, its a matter of perception. You perceived me as "being rude". I, on the other hand, see myself as telling it as it is. Isn't it obvious that when someone (whether "Kosovar" or not) don't like what they read on B92, that the sensible thing for them to do would be to stop torturing themselves by returning here?

What essentially Jermic is saying is this: if I admit that I have forcedly stolen Kosova then police will come in my house to investigate and it will find all other things I have stolen.

Vuk and his magical crystal ball. He doesn't know this at all, he is just saying it'll happen to support his political agenda.

Kosovo's declaration of independence has not affected any other separatist movement in the world even though Vuk and co would like it to do so.

Well,
based on the title of this article, without having to study it to much one would think following:
We have no problems with Independence of Kosovo.
We are worried for the next steps?
We know Kosovo is Independent and nothing can be done but if we speak about it loudly than we might have more independencies being declared (Vojvodina, Sandjak, Vlasinska oblast etc etc).

This is how this article, and mostly the title, sounds like...

Don't confirm you agree.
I know you do, you just don't have the needed carriage to confess...

"So Serbia is nothing more than a kid playing with a flower, while Kosovo is independent from Serbia? "
(EHE, 20 June 2011 17:22)

No, using your choice of words, I meant Serbia doesn't care if some 'kids' in Kosovo call themselves independent. They stick to the offical status, i.e. UN resolution 1244 (still in force) which clearly states that Kosovo is a province of Yugoslavia(now Serbia, since Serbia is the legal UN-approved successor of YU), currently under temporary UN administration.

The kid has distorted the main fact. Kosovo has nothing to do with the regions in Serbia. If Serbia is respecting the rights of the people who live in these regions, then she doesn't have to be afraid at all because something like that will not happen. Otherwise, if Serbia is treating them the way she treated Kosovo Albanians in Kosovo which was grave mistake (every minister in Serbia's government admits that) then these regions will follow suit regardless of whether Serbia recognizes Kosovo or not.

Who could play a better clown than Mr. Jeremic?

Dear pro-independence Kosovars:

You shouldn't have to listen to what Vuk Jeremic has or had been saying.

MikeC

Indeed mr Jeremic. Serbia should never accept an independent Kosovo run by druglords and human trafficers. And Kosovo independence does set a precedent. Soon northern epirus in south Albania will ask for independence. Followed by Republika Srpska, Krajina and serb areas in Montenegro.

Mr Jeremic is one of a few competent politicians in the Serbian government, leading Serbia through successful diplomatic negotiations with other nations. His competence is justified by the fact that he is a Harvard graduate and this can be seen through his success in lobbying across the world against Kosovo independence. Hats off to him for having balls to stand up to big nations.

Jeremic reiterated that the priorities of Serbia's foreign policy remain EU integration, protection of territorial integrity, regional cooperation and economic diplomacy, as well as that the four pillars of the country's foreign policy are Brussels, Moscow, Beijing and Washington.

In that order, Brussels come first. A good sign. Washington comes last, maybe natural, too :-)

Kosovo is independent, Jeremicu. Didn't Americans tell you when you visited them? BECAUSE IT SEEMS YOU DON'T GET IT BEING TOLD ONLY ONES OR TWICE OR....
(ivan, 20 June 2011 14:04)

Kosovo can call itself independent, allowed and approved by the ICJ, and a little kid can call the grass blue. The implications for Serbia are the same in both cases.

The country's other regions could follow suit. Gee I wonder why Vuk has Belgrade Serbia been arrogant as usual towards the regions and minorities when it ever it gets its wicked chance. Serbia reminds me of Turkey I guess being under the Turks tutelage for hundreds of years has rubd off badly. Its very hard to tell where a Serb starts and a Turk ends all in a Serb mentality just a mishmash of murderous hate towards any one that is not a confessing card caring Serb http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgIBxEu9bJU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK3O79eNb-8&feature=related.

So Serbia is nothing more than a kid playing with a flower, while Kosovo is independent from Serbia?

It does make sense, but for a kid, it is way to brutal in lies and fabrications, poor mother russia what will it do with that stepchild with a big mouth?

Well, you mentioned that one shouldn't have to listen to what Vuk Jeremic says -- if you find what he says that unpalatable, isn't the obvious solution to stop coming to B92 so that you need not read what he says anymore?

Seems to me that someone who insists on continuing to read what he/she finds unpalatable must surely be dense or crazy or both -- you may take your pick which of these applies to you.

Simply meant that Jeremic is a clown in the eyes of Albanians, that's all.

No Kosovar is asking Serbia to recognize Kosova, not even Europe because Albanians have what belongs to them. Jeremic you can't give in something that was never yours. Do you actually know how many Albanians were living in Leskovc area in 1850s plus what happened to more than 500 Albanian villages in the sandzak of Nish?. Nish itself is Albanian word and you know it.

Kosova has nothing to do with it. the only "sin" that could be credited to Kosova is that it fights more than others I presume… I guess it's in our Illyrian blood i-lire=free man

Ivan
The kid has copied that long time ago and he is doing what he's told. UN GA resolution is the best example. As long as he does what he's being told, what he says for internal public consumption, US could not care less.

Whose talking about chasing women and children? I was merely telling that resident from Canada that it is just plain nuts to keep coming back to B92 when he/she expects to be offended at what he/she reads here. Basic common sense if you ask me.

What essentially Jermic is saying is this: if I admit that I have forcedly stolen Kosova then police will come in my house to investigate and it will find all other things I have stolen.

So I cannot admit that I stole Kosova as everything will break apart then.

Well there is a news for the crooks: there is no perfect crime - you will be hunted and you will pay for your misdeeds no matter how arrogant you are.

His statement should have been “If we treat our minorities in Serbia like we did with Albanians in Kosovo, they will follow Kosovo and separate from Serbia”
So stop complaining and treat your minorities with the respect that they deserve because who knows, one day they might not want to live in the same country as you.

Peace,

I know this isn't really the place, but i wish to mention that Mrs. Nekibe Kelmendi, former minister of justice, has died, according to my frnd in kosova. perhaps some of you know that already. i really don't wish to politicize this, just to say now that we knew her, knew she was suffering from cancer... poor soul, her suffering is now finally over. may god bless you, nekibe.

Vuk and his magical crystal ball. He doesn't know this at all, he is just saying it'll happen to support his political agenda.

Kosovo's declaration of independence has not affected any other separatist movement in the world even though Vuk and co would like it to do so.

Well,
based on the title of this article, without having to study it to much one would think following:
We have no problems with Independence of Kosovo.
We are worried for the next steps?
We know Kosovo is Independent and nothing can be done but if we speak about it loudly than we might have more independencies being declared (Vojvodina, Sandjak, Vlasinska oblast etc etc).

This is how this article, and mostly the title, sounds like...

Don't confirm you agree.
I know you do, you just don't have the needed carriage to confess...
