Serbia to offer to take in Hague convicts

Serbian officials are preparing to launch an initiative in the UN to make Serbia one of 18 countries in which Hague convicts would be able to serve sentences.

One would have to wonder why such a proposal would be suggested, unless since most of the convicted are from Serbia and Serbia wants to somehow reward them with better accomodations for their service to the motherland.

Are you saying that jails in Serbia are better than the ones in Netherlands?
Serbia has come a long way alright. Jails are cushy and the entertainment must be good too. Has Ceca decided to hold a concert in one of their jails?
Just wondering how you came to that conclusion.

Sure, why not - take Mladic and Karadzic and all other serb criminals to the Bosnian Federation, Kosovo, and Croatia - depending on against whom they committed their crimes. The few convicted Croatians, Bosnians, and Albanians can be sent to Serbia.

I am sure that their punishment would be more appropriate that way.
