As an American, I do not believe this. This is pure propaganda.

Most western media are carrying this story. “Outgoing US defence secretary Robert Gates has confirmed the US has been negotiating with the Taliban to end the war in Afghanistan, saying outreach talks began a few weeks ago.”

Money is running out fast – very fast.

Is this a dream? Surely that high and mighty defended of all that is western BS would not compromise their ethics to deal with the people who assisted in that attack on the US called 9/11/.
How the mighty worm has turned. The US groveling to the Taliban to “form a national government” so they can cut and run.
What happened to the US superior weaponry? Where is the state of the art military hardware? In Hollywood you say; well agree. Windbaggery at it best.
Sorry US but Taliban are not interested so you’re going to leave with your tail between your legs and look like the fools you really are.
Oh how is the Libyan front going? Not too good – Ahhh, another US failure.
Barak I’d fire all those 4 star generals because they could not command a scout troop. Perhaps if General Mladic’s health improves he can teach some of your people at West Point.

The US PR "we're not talking to terrorists" or "The war on Taliban was a war on Terror" was aimed at the stupid and ill-informed.Anyone with even a limited ability to think for themselves should have seen through the lies that constitute the “War on Terror” long ago.The thousands of lives lost and more than $3 trillion spent are just a vindication of the muddled and disastrous 'mission' in Afghanistan.

But any agreement in Afganistan will not end the instability in the region.Pakistan is about to decent in internal chaos and any fallout could well reach the UK a well as the US.

Old lovers reuniting! An angel is being born somewhere in Heaven. Right. More proof that the US under the Muslim Obama is controled by S.Arabia just like the Taliban is. Now that the dust has settled and nobody cares that another Arab nationalist state was invaded, the victors can put their fake spat behind them.

Karzai must be secretly worried sick now ...... the Yankees now appear desperate to leave Afghanistan, and to avoid leaving the way they did in Vietnam. At the end of the day, the Yankees have no qualms about dropping their bosom buddies like hot potatoes when it suit them.
