When I think about it that yes it's a disappointment that Vancouver didn't win the Stanley Cup,but in all honesty, rioting ain't the solution all because it's illegal and the rioters are acting like spoiled criminal brats (if you will.)

currently i believe that nazim kadri who plays for the leafs is of albanian decent.. not that any of that matters.. the lad's canadian from a hockey lineage... that's where he learned... same goes for lucic, and domi, and zezel, and kordic (though he was possibly the largest tool in the box)(, and i'm sure i missed some other lads that have a historical connection to the balkan peminsula but learned all their hockey in canada or states or some european hockey nation)...

Tie Domi was a goon with no skill to offer, just check his stats. Anyone in the NHL can drop the gloves and fight... even the Sedin twins tangle once in a while. Milan Lucic would easily pummel Tie Dummy. WAY TO GO BOSTON!
Tim Thomas was spectacular in the playoffs!

Congratulations to Boston, an original six team in their Stanley Cup Victory, pounding away that arrogant ass called Luongo and the rest of the finger bitting Canucks.

In addition...Lord Stanley will be adding a Serbian name to the cup this year..MILAN LUCIC! Along with Peja in Dallas as NBA Champs...Serbs continue to add to the resume of achievements.

We Canadian-Albanians had Tie Domi in the NHL let see if anyone from the new generation will follow his lead.

well if you are looking for a player with albanain roots from the past than there is no better choice than legendary Tie Domi from Toronto. That guy was a monster in a positive sense .Was involved in more fights than anyone else during late 90s and spend more minutes on penalty bench than average citizen in a school bench. Was very tough with good defending skills.Even when I played NHL games that guy was a nightmare when I faced somebody who commended Mapple Leafs. As to Cenucks they will wait another at least 17 years before they play in the final and their opponents from 94 the Rangers at least 3 decades before they win again.Born losers.

Why would you coin the term "Canuckleheads??" I find it odd that you could come up with such a nickname or derogatory term.

As a "developing" fan of the National Hockey League and since you're proud that the Boston Bruins has a Serb or Serb-Canadian player that's why I actually hope that some NHL team, whether it's American or a Canadian team, will one day recruit an Albanian or Kosovar player or an American or Canadian player of Albanian or Kosovar descent. If I may add,if there's any Albanians out there (especially if you reside in Canada or USA) that are fans of the NHL I'm sure I can relate to you in that respect.

One more thing B92!

You forgot to report about the cars that were set on fire and the looting of store fronts that occured after the game.

The tiny street fights between people were the least of Vancouver's worries.

Congratulations to the Boston Bruins!

Also, a congratulations to Milan Lucic, a Serb that provided a great contribution in winning this years Stanley Cup.

Anyways, just goes to show that there are sporting hooligans all over the world. These riots were just as bad as the riots in Belgrade back in 2008.

It's a bit tough that the Canucks couldn't even score a 1 but maybe they'll do better to win the Stanley Cup come next season.
