We Albanians need Tadic in power for the next years, so pressure on him from the Western governments should not be very strong, until he wins the elections next year again. Some agreements are good enough for now, so that Serbia can get closer to EU candidate status and the DS win the next elections and the obstacles on Kosovo decreased via the agreements and the trust of Kosovo Albanians towards this government in Serbia increased. Forcing this government to recognize Kosovo now may have the effect of DS losing the elections. The road to the EU is long. In my opinion, the pressure to recognize Kosovo should be applied in the next governing cycle, after the DS win the elections next year. Sincerely, I can also not see who would be able to govern Serbia apart from the DS. The others seem like failures. Kostunica is gone, Nikolic makes fake hunger strikes. SRS is focused on the Hague, the socialists have a big baggage from the past. I would like the opinion of some Serb more informed than I am, is there any convincing alternative to the DS? Ignore Kosovo in the answer, I am just asking about the economy, reforms, good (or at least not very bad) governance. Hopefully, I will get answers that make sense.
