I am not a citizen of Serbia and therefore do not believe that I am in a position to tell the people of Serbia what they should do.

That being said, I urge you to remember that NATO is in desperate need, desperate need of money and ANY military support they can get.

Serbia should look to the future, Abrial, and reject your American killing machine, that does what it wants, where it wants, and to the degree it wants. Is that democracy in the NATO's opinion? with the Visegrad-group establishing an own battlegroup, independently from NATO central command this organisation has already passed its peak. I think the time is not so far away, that NATO will only be REacting instead of acting at will.

Only in your wildest dreams will Serbs betray Russia and its proud people in favor of Albanians and an obsolete organization like NATO. Serbia will never join NATO-regardless of the duplicitous, underhanded tactics that the Tadic regime uses to do so. If by some stealth measure, not approved by the serbian people, serbia joins NATO-not a single young Serb will join or remain in the serbian armed forces. A shadow military will be formed and you know what that means. General miletic and his boss Tadic will have to hire foreign mercanaries to man the serb army. Many two faced serbian politicians love NATO-because it may be the only force in the world to help save thier butts when the serbian population rises up against them.

A serb can be many things, he can be any religion he wants, he can follow any political party he wants, he can be straight, gay from mars-BUT A SERB CAN NEVER BE ALLIED OR A MEMBER OF THE NATO CARTEL. those serbs who want to join nato should pack thier bags and go to the west-they are not welcome amongst the serb people.

I did see some younger people who believe, this will improve their living standard and provide better future. Wrong. "West" can't provide better future for their young people. Wrong. The old generation lived better than us and we live better than our children will. And after the political change of 89 "West" betrayed our hopes for a better world. I do not see, why West would not betray the Serbian youth - they did it to us without even blinking. Liars + hypocrites.

NATO is so popular that ordinary Bosnian ("muslim" and "Croatian", not only "Serb") citizens set up watching points and informed Serbian forces about NATO raids in 1999. And that while I never was blamed (having U.S. passport) for 1999 - on one occasion I was beaten by a Croatian lady (it did not hurt, don't worry - and I did not beat her back) for the 1999.
