Except my dear 'Harold' the English don't say 'could care less', in fact only ignorant Americans incorrectly say this. How on earth can one say the opposite and mean the same thing?

Besides if you couldn't care less why would you post here at all?

There's nothing like an englishman's ignorance and pomposity when it comes to the Balkans, especially when they have a history of being up to the neck in other peoples blood.

I know Croatia has war criminals and it's sad but I still see it quite funny that Serbs raise the "victim" role when they were trying to take something that wasn't theirs. Kind of like a burglar getting his butt handed to him after trying to rob a home, then crying that they were treated unfairly.

Oh, Balkans!

Let's see now. Mercep, Oric, Haradinaj, Ceku, Thaci, innocent pillars of their society. No doubt they even help old ladies to cross the street. Most have even been acquitted by that paragon of virtue and justice the Hague tribunal. Others haven't even been called to explain themselves before that panel of impartiality. The Serbs on the other hand are guilty before even opening their mouths. Sorry, am I being cynical.

This should have been done a long, long time ago but the famously impartial ICTY couldn't manage it despite their claim of having launched two 'investigations'. Maybe they didn't like the idea of showing that the croats were going after their minorities long before hostilities broke out, Tudjman, the Holocaust denier, being the favored son of Germany, Austria and the Vatican.

At last this scumbag will be processed - although probably due to his name he will escape proper punishment.

Still, this Mercep will forever be associated with war crimes...

The Dutch will have no problem with accepting Croatia into the EU, despite war criminals like this creep. But the crimes were committed against Serbs, so it's OK for the Dutch, and the rest of the EU, to look the other way.
