No way! It's just about helping to organize humanitarian bombings in Ghana, Lesotho and Bhutan - and protect E.U. interests there.

A campaign for the pursuit of Serbian libertarianism needs to take root in that country because plans like these are not beneficial for the Serbian state, nor the Serbian people who will have to pay for such foreign EU adventures. The squabbling by the tens of political parties is taking away from the main cause of Serbia's problems: external interference which has started the diminishing of individual rights and liberties which every human should enjoy, but which the Serbian Government and its foreign masters want to take away in their power games.

Many Serbs expect the accession money from the EU to come pouring in, but what they neglect to understand is the outflow of money from the country into EU coffers that will occur after accession. The EU is not a free club, it is a paid-membership group that mismanages funds based on a currency that is failing and that will ultimately fail in the end. Do you think Serbia can do better than Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, and Italy (the so-called PIGS)? Can Serbs honestly think that all of the tens of thousands of EU acquis communautaire law can be good for the Serbian economy and laissez-faire way of life which is rapidly eroding away. No, it can't, and we can see this in the PIGS examples where countries moderately similar to Serbia like Greece, Portugal, and Spain have suffered greatly because the system their citizens prefer cannot be reconciled with the strictures of the northern European system which stands as the basis of all or most acquis law.

If Serbia ever gets into the EU, and by God's will I hope it never does, it will suffer the fates of these bailout countries and probably worse. Serbia is no way, shape, or form ready or capable for EU membership, and this is a good thing because the EU project is weak and on its last legs. Serbia needs to fix itself with new ideas generated by its own smart populace. Serbs are an ingenious lot with a capability to produce great results, but those good qualities are cancelled out when outside interference stunts or destroys the ability for Serbia to raise itself out of its multiple instances of morass. I think this may be the overall goal....

Outsiders like me wonder why should Serbia help an organization that keeps putting obstacle after obstacle upon her? Let the Dutch send the extra troops required to these places to atone for their lapses in Srebenica. And is the ultimate booby prize of EU membership (aka become the programmed slave of London, Paris and Berlin) even remotely worth it? Someone oughta knock some sense into Tadic -- but probably to no avail anyway.
