Poor Macedonians have as bad politicians as any in the Balkans, although they don't seem to get caught as much usually.
They give the illusion of making the people happy by spending vast amounts of money in the centre of Skoplje with nation building monuments and buildings.
On the other hand next to nothing is being invested in other sectors and unemployment is a serious problem.
