Some of you Serbs on here need to get over your quasi anti-Semitic leanings and realize that Israel is a friend of Serbia, especially in its defense of territorial sovereignty
(Karanovic, 5 June 2011 18:19)

Serbia is one of the few countries on the planet where Jews can feel at home any time they like and without any trace of anti-Semitism really worth to mention.

What we see here is rather "anti-Semitism-by-proxy", meaning that it's actually anti-American (in the sense: anti-American-establishment) position, projected on Israel's establishment.

I am not really sure what to say about Israel's political establishment (they, too, have enough crooks there) and I am VERY SURE what to say about America's political establishment (they have nothing, but crooks there).

Therefore I do not object what I read really. I can't sympathize with the Palestinian cause either. They have nothing, but crooks in their leaderships and the methods they use are not kosher.

Their "supporters" like Syria, Iran have own agenda and own set of crooks.

There we go.

And indeed, many things the Albanian terrorists, Chechen terrorists and Palestinian terrorists use are strikingly similar. Like using women and children as human shields. Nice set of criminals.

The Palestinians are analogous to our Albanian problem in that they use terrorism to try to accomplish goals, much like the KLA/UCK. Jews have a divine right to their land, it is stated as such in the Bible, and that right has not been diminished over time.

In July 2009, journalist Amos Harel published in Ha’aretz: “Breaking the Silence...has a clear political agenda, and can no longer be classed as a ‘human rights organization.’ Any organization whose website includes the claim by members to expose the ‘corruption which permeates the military system’ is not a neutral observer. The organization has a clear agenda: to expose the consequences of IDF troops serving in the West Bank and Gaza. This seems more of interest to its members than seeking justice for specific injustices.
They have a political agenda.

In the period between Israel’s War of Independence (1948) and the Six Day War (1967), the Syrians constantly harassed Israeli border communities by firing artillery shells from their dominant positions on the Golan Heights. In October 1966 Israel brought the matter up before the United Nations. Five nations sponsored a resolution criticizing Syria for its actions but it failed to pass due to a Soviet veto.

Strange this is happening,Syria letting people protest then sending them up to the fence to try to cross, maybe their trying to divert attention away from there brutal crackdown on their own people.

Still the only democracy in the middle east.
I suggest a read of the Golan Heights Law.

"Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not allow "extremists" to breach Israel's borders.

"I have instructed our security forces to act with determination and restraint in order to protect our sovereignty our borders, towns and citizens," he said at the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. "

Breach of your borders?????? That's just rich! Ever since when do you have rightful sovereignty over the Golan Heights??????

There is site with Israeli soldiers talking about the occupied territories and the crimes committed there in this act of genocide against the Palestinian people, sponsored and supported by the US.

These shootings are no surprise when governments are not help responsible for their actions.

Anyway, the site is here and is run by some brave Jewish activists and former soldiers. Check http://www.breakingthesilence.org.il

Better idea for Palestinian protesters: next time block with tractors all roads leading out of Tel Aviv.
I am curious, what will happen. It supposed to be a great success in a small European country.

Wait, that small European country can't even protect it's borders and territorial integrity properly.

Maybe that's the root cause?

Not enough M(iG), M(erkava), M(egaton) = weak country. I guess, this does not apply to Israel, but does apply to that small country in Europe. The only better thing that Srbija is Srbija armed to the teeth and with plenty of nukes "just in case".
