"How soon you forget that your serb orthodox clergy was blessing paramilitaries before they went on rampage and killed even unborn babies.
(Agim Kelmendi, 5 June 2011 13:35)"

This coming from a Turk? Hard to believe.

How come they had mercy on snakes and pigeons? Don't worry, if Creator does exist, he has a large notebook with many notices to check regarding snakes and pigeons. After they face the Creator it will be roštilj time for them for eternity. Amen.

The Vatican's role in both Yugoslav and by definition Croatian history is a chequered one. (no pun intended) The catholic church's wartime embrace and the active participation of some so-called clergy in Ustasha crimes was a disgrace. These crimes against humanity were never condemned adequately or at all by the Vatican. In fact it is a point of record that war criminals were assisted in their flight to South America by Catholic priests. This warped perception of religion has done nothing to foster reconciliation and harmony between the peoples of the former Yugoslavia. The Pope should encourage the Croat government to assist refugees in returning to their homes.

@PEN,
Your assuming the vatican is a benevolent agent and not a diabolical one with a long history of abuse within, and persecution of non-catholics. Every tree is known by its fruit; the vatican never had any.

I hope few people come to see him and if the low turnout for those recent pro-Ustasa demonstrations means anything, then we cjn expect a low turn-out for the pope.
