The minister of agriculture, forestry and trade,Petrovic has made a pledge to promote and boost agriculture development by means of allocating fund-money to farmers .The money from the funds should also be supposed to be used for protections against hails and floods. It is quite clear that storms and heavy showers cannot be prevented, as well as raging torrents, especially if ditches are clogged with garbage, for what citizens are responsible, but what about hail-preventing rockets ,why are they not used?! In summer months, when hails are frequent, crops are damaged more than by droughts. Raspberries and orchards have already been devastated in western Serbia; Shumadia,Vojvodina and southern Serbia are the next to suffer the loss. The government would rather allocate resources for cars and celebrations than for hail prevention.
