Royal Romania was a respected and prosperous country and the Romanian state regressed with the Bolshevik Red Plague,terror imposed by stalin and as well as Roosevelt and Churchill's acceptance, in all countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Michael I, the last king of Romania, should be respected because that is the last leader alive during WW2.As well as Romania was Poland , Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia etc.What is little Albania in the history of the Europe, except so-called Illyrian descent?Is mafia, drugs, intolerance… and destruction of Orthodox monasteries in Kosovo.Kosovo is Serbia .

Well, with 1.43 million Hungarians in Romania, and half a million Hungarians in Slovakia, they are nervous.

These Hungarians live in territories given to those countries by "Treaty of Trianon", after the defeat of Austro-Hungaria in the beginning of the 20th century. Same story with Vojvodina in Serbia.

There is always fear that these regions will want to join the motherland, thus the refusal.

Smack in the middle of Pristina, Kosovo's capital, you have the newest Catholic Church in the Balkans (still under construction - final touch-ups in progress). Last time I checked, Catholics were Christians too.

There are statues of Mother Theresa (yes, she was Albanian and a Christian). Additionally, don't forget that Albanians belong to three different religions, including Eastern Orthodox and they were opressed by Communists just like you were by Nicolae Ceaușescu.

If you dig deep enough, you will also notice that our languages (Albanian and Romanian) have many similarities - showing that Albanians and Romanians were nighbors, before the Slavic invasions. Not a big deal, but just an interesting fact.

I guess people missed the flag of Kosovo in the yard among all other country flags. In the table no country had its flag.Only names of the presidents. Slovakia did everything not miss the important meeting. I guess Romania wasen't so smart but I guess Russia pointed their claws at Romania not to go. Poor country together with Serbia.

Serbia say hello to the new state wich is respected as an equal state in Europe. Time to accept the reality folks!!

What evidence you need ? Something similar to the deeds that Serbs have for the Kosovo land from whoever owned that land before them ?

I was almost right in my previous predictions...Kosovo will attend as a shadow-state..Slowakia is in with a quick ready change of stance..but Romania...well i must admit that i believed that Traian B. would have said yes to Obama's phone call immediatly BUT INSTEAD HE STOOD firm on his feet and... accept all the missiles that Barack will deploy near Bucharest...

A bad move for Serbia and Romania considering that a compromise was reached to strip Kosovo of any state symbols and voting power, making them little more than an observer. This was a compromise reached to get Slovakia to join and I see no reason why Serbia and Romania couldn't have followed suit since previous arrangements like this were called for by Belgrade and no protests were coming from Pristina this time.

Additionally, Tadic could have been hailed as the man of the hour at the meeting. Obama got Osama and Tadic got Mladic. In my opinion, a big opportunity amid a scaled-down representation for Kosovo was missed. Luckily for him he can claim to now be too busy arranging Mladic's extradition.

And Kosovo will be inside the summit and being heard, Serbia will be outside being ignored. That is the reality. Do you really think all the participants are sitting in the room saying "I really, really wish Serbia was here, then it would be worth it"? The Serbian antics may have changed some of the formats of these gatherings but they have not caused anyone to say Kosovo you cannot come so that Serbia will be here.

The main though not declared aim of this forum is to build a buffer zone between the Western Europe where have many influential friends and Russia. But in no way something connected with Kosovo and Metohija. As for Tadic after the treason this man cannot afford leaving Serbia.

Katyn you mentioned is just one and rather small chain in our tragic history. It was initiated by Dr. Goebbels and later by the US with only one aim to further spoil our relations. But we are on our way to reconciliation and I am not going to let you provoke me. I am ready to discuss things only with ethnical Poles. By the way out of 250 000 of Polish prisoners of war 22 000 were killed in Katyn and as you know it is not the territory of Russia. In 6 camps on our soil there were no killings cause there was no threat of seizing them by Wermacht. Russia armed some 130 000 of Anders’ Corps and let it flee from the battle field during Stalingrad. They went tourism and were back to Europe in 1944. Later we created 1st Army of Voisko Polskoe ( 90 000 ) which fought as good as it was allowed to storm Berlin. Of course in Wermacht we had 500 000 of Poles but it was the tragedy of many European nations.

2/ CONCERNING MOLDOVA. This you have the right to know. So I explain that your stubborn dogmas have several weak places. First is that the brother people you are talking about prefers to be a separate nation instead of being a second rate Romanians. So they are Moldovans and so they sustain from joining you despite the severe pressure you render. Second is that Western Bukovina was a part of Romania only for 21 years because of your beloved communists and their October Revolution. Before that for 200 years they enjoyed Russian citizenship. So in 1941 we just returned what had belonged to us according to all the international treaties. And this is why most of them fought against the Romanian invaders in 1941-44. Third are the repressions all Soviets suffered. The Moldovans were part of ours and thus they also travelled to raise Syberian economy. Thanks to them we supply EU with gas and oil. Forth are the atrocities on both sides. After murdering 1 000 000 of our civilians you are not in a position to blame us of killing 2000 Soviets even if such a tragedy really took place.

3/ CONCERNING YALTA. Romania was imposed not only the current borders and republic constitution but also it had to pay us contributions though with a big discount. After the casualties we suffered from you (10 civillians for every killed Roman !) we had much more moral rights to punish you as you deserved it. But we didn’t. We forgave you and sustained from your eliminating. And don’t tell me stories about setting free the Romanian lands cause the 4-th Romanian Army is buried 2000 km away from those lands. The place is known as Stalingrad though if you decide to find your Grandpa you should search for Volgograd now.

4/ Listen warrior I cannot afford teaching you the whole history of the mankind so don’t talk of everything you have no idea of ! Put me short and direct questions and I’ll save this one lost soul. But please don tell me about NKVD crimes in prewar Europe , Polish prisoners of war murdered outside Katyn and other things which occur to you.

I am right to assume that you have no proof at all.

Serbs have all the proof of having Kosovo. Look around Kosovo and you will see it but we need a bit more than your word about what you say because there is nothing to see so we do need a map of some sort. Maps are easily obtained now so get to it.

Well, today, the large majority of the population in Kosovo is Albanian. Some say that the Albanians stole it from the Serbs who have been in Kosovo for 1000+ years. Let's assume it is so. The question I'm asking is how did Serbs get Kosovo before the Albanians? Where are the land deeds that prior owners gave to the Serbs 1000 years ago ? Nobody has showed them !

If you dig deep enough, you will also notice that our languages (Albanian and Romanian) have many similarities - showing that Albanians and Romanians were nighbors, before the Slavic invasions. Not a big deal, but just an interesting fact.

If I were him I would not touch items where there’s nothing to write home about. The hordes I mentioned went to and fro this territory meeting little resistance.

And it was not the guilt but the bad luck of the people here. They just had to accept their fate cause nothing really could be done. But the decision of organizers to invite Kosovo as an independent state prompted presidents of Serbia and Romania, Boris Tadić and Traian Basescu, to snub the meeting.

He reversed his initial plan to boycott the summit after Polish organizers agreed not to display "state symbols or the name" of Kosovo as an independent state.
Gašparovič was also granted his wish that no joint declaration should be signed that would include Kosovo's Atifete Jahjaga.

Guys forget Romenia no one really cares about Romania and to be honest I thing Europe would love to take Romenia out of EU. What matters is that Kosova was represented as a state without a doubt, if you see pictures on our media Kosovos flag was among other flags, so spear me the no flags no names joke.

Well, with 1.43 million Hungarians in Romania, and half a million Hungarians in Slovakia, they are nervous.

These Hungarians live in territories given to those countries by "Treaty of Trianon", after the defeat of Austro-Hungaria in the beginning of the 20th century. Same story with Vojvodina in Serbia.

There is always fear that these regions will want to join the motherland, thus the refusal.

I don't how B92 keeps claiming that Kosovo was not represented as country in this summit. I saw Kosovo flag hanging with flags of other countries on the building where summit was taking place. Kosovo flag was not in the room, however there were no other flags either.

Well, today, the large majority of the population in Kosovo is Albanian. Some say that the Albanians stole it from the Serbs who have been in Kosovo for 1000+ years. Let's assume it is so. The question I'm asking is how did Serbs get Kosovo before the Albanians? Where are the land deeds that prior owners gave to the Serbs 1000 years ago ? Nobody has showed them !
