It never will, whatever soothing noises EU officials might make. One of the reasons independent "Kosova" exists is as a dumping ground for the significant criminal and parasitic elements of its European diaspora. If the latter can simply return to their old haunts visa-free, the whole scheme is undermined. It simply won't happen.

This is nothing new, already my Serbian wife has funds checked along with insurance, return ticket, job to return to and a permission letter from her work along with a letter from me to declare where she will be staying. I am not sure if there are too many other countries with this kind of regime in place? This is checked every time she travels to the UK to visit me. I would suggest that maybe the immigration issue stems from some other countries in the region based on the evidence I have seen as to how Serbia implements its own regime.
