and thank you to all members of minorities, and dissidents, who have not left in utter disgust, but agree to continue the good fight here. keep it up, and god bless you. do not be intimidated! do not be scared off! freedom and independence are crucial and precious things, and they do not come cheaply. freedom of speech is one of the most precious things of all.

You have lost the plot.
What fight? What on earth do you hope to achieve by coming here and spewing your cr@p and obvious hatred for Serbs?
What? Tell us what can you and your brethren achieve?
Oh you might get some aggression out of your system but that's it.
This is not a place for a fight. If you want to fight, join the army and ask to be sent to "Kosova" and start destroying graves.

Only hate, hate and hate, read here from serbians against albanians. Like there is not enough killing 11000 civilian albanian people women kids elderly, destroying their homes and moving out of their houses one million looting everything they had. Shame on you
(gjon fusha, 20 May 2011 00:26)

That 11,000 includes about 6000 Non Albanians killed by the KLA and Bombing, KLA military Casulties and some 1000 or so Albanian moderates killed by the KLA. Shame on you for lying.

As for the deniers of this halarious article, here it is. http://www.zeri.info/artikulli/1/1/25834/ambasadat-ne-social/

adequate response, Mike! well done.

as for Roberto, who still dreams of being in San Francisco, or Miri who still believes in a Milosevic-conspiracy here...

they remind me of the Jerry Springer Show too! ...you know those, who in front of the cameras do not use their brains, but only their fists... and make a fool of themselves.

this Zeri-article made my day, since it gave us the chance to see how helpless and desperate some of our dear k-albanian friends here really are.

...not even capable of checking an URL-link! priceless!

"Did you see how Albanian readers commented the article in Zeri? They threw no accusations against the article, they didn't call it being lies, they didn't paint a picture of neighbours' guilt to Kosovo's situation. They acknowledged the reality. "
(Olli, 20 May 2011 16:09)

To acknowledge the reality is the first step for making a change. It's much better than to simply deny things which don't fit into your view of the world. Well, it seems like Albanians, when writing in Albanian/for only domestic readers, are much more realistic about the situation and don't need to glorify things which are not so glorious.

Apparently the reason behind the "broken" links is that B92 puts the address in a [link] but the "/" is left out. So for miri, roberto, Ian, and others who voluntarily come here to basically call B92 a place of agit prop without doing their homework yet asking others to do so because they're too busy posturing:

1. Go to the link I provided and after clicking it, add a "/" in the address bar.

2. Or just google "Ambasadat në “social” and you'll get your phantom article that you claim never exists.

3. Here's the cached link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:JKOGds13XLwJ:www.zeri.info/artikulli/1/1/25834/ambasadat-ne-social/+Ambasadat+n%C3%AB+%E2%80%9Csocial%E2%80%9D&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

4. And here's the Google translate link: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=sq&u=http://www.zeri.info/artikulli/1/1/25834/ambasadat-ne-social/&ei=5IbWTfg7xpKBB8uUxMEH&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCgQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3DAmbasadat%2Bn%25C3%25AB%2B%25E2%2580%259Csocial%25E2%2580%259D%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26rls%3Dcom.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox%26prmd%3Divns

It's not that I care one way or the other for the condition of Kosovo's so-called embassy staff. It makes no difference to me. What's funny is that people who apparently are more read up on Albanian news sites can't even find this, and our good friend from frisco who probably didn't do any investigation on his own feels it's more appropriate to shoot the messenger - or more like talk it to death. Seriously roberto, cut the BS. If you don't like B92 do a lot of us a favor and leave. Post on Zeri. You know, that website with the article you don't think exists? Write about how wonderful Albanians are and how awful Serbs are. I'm sure a few of the posters, when they're not castigating Berisha or Thaci would get a kick out of you. But for someone who apparently takes freedom of speech as seriously as you do, you obviously didn't even bother to consult Zeri's website. Good job there.

Olli

Roberto,

I'm worried about your condition. I see you are losing grip and escaping reality into your writings and preaching.

Everyone should understand that Kosovo's situation is very very seriously catastrophic. Instead of demanding changes in running the state of Kosovo you complain B92 publishing an article of a Kosovo Albanian newspaper... and then you close your comment writing "freedom of speech is one of the most precious things of all"...

Did you see how Albanian readers commented the article in Zeri? They threw no accusations against the article, they didn't call it being lies, they didn't paint a picture of neighbours' guilt to Kosovo's situation. They acknowledged the reality.

I'm afraid Roberto wouldn't notice his own mother rotting in the bed...

The same mentality the Servs have had always. That is why the wars came one after another.

Dear Albanians,

I urge you to borrow billions of $ and euros as the Serbs have done for their survival so you will be happy. With their amount of debt one can build 3x Kosovo. Thanks!

(miri, 19 May 2011 22:17)

I tried every which way to find this story in Zeri online -- no luck. it exists, or not. maybe it does. but when i find "news" on this site, i always require at least 2 other certified sources. like maybe bbc and n y times. or maybe one major kosovar/albanian outlet, and one respected european one. but this site alone? never.

but let's say, for the sake of argument, that zeri actually ran the story, and even that the story is true. what is the meaning behind it? that resources of kosova are strapped? that the common people are struggling? that the balkans are poor? that belgrade continues, every day and in every way to torture its neighbors, by which i refer to kosova and bosnia (for the moment), and then laugh their fool heads off when people of those targeted countries are suffering?

is this something new? no, some of us have been discussing it for years, too many years, but it is getting worse; even the serbian journalists association is openly discussing it.

this may still be called "b-92" but it has nothing to do with the media site i once knew, and admired. think Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

every couple of days, as if on cue, we read some hack, cut-n-paste piece portraying "albos" as somehow sub-human. then full throttle hate campaign/response by not such highly esteemed diaspora. party is pleased, everything keeps flowing, if you know what i mean.

and we're 'sposed to be ecstatic because they let some "albos" squeeze in a few comments, or are inconsistent about their censoring of dissidents. Please!

i continue to ask the same question, of the um, journalists employed here: how do you sleep at night, with yr so-called conscience?

and even though i have no balkan "blood" (according to the definitions promoted here), i feel i must apologize to all of our albanian colleagues here for what is dished out to trash you, again and again and again. they most assuredly DO know what they're doing.

but still i must insist that not ALL serbs are the same. many, certainly; most, arguably; all, never. i hope that you look at sites like helsinki committee for human rights; Pescanik; and others. this week (i believe) sonia is meeting with a group of Kosovar albanians. it is not such a big deal, she just mentioned it. she's always been meeting with people of different ethnicities, nationalities, people from kosova -- and there are other such folks as well. so please keep such people in mind, even if they are exceptional.

and thank you to all members of minorities, and dissidents, who have not left in utter disgust, but agree to continue the good fight here. keep it up, and god bless you. do not be intimidated! do not be scared off! freedom and independence are crucial and precious things, and they do not come cheaply. freedom of speech is one of the most precious things of all.

Apparently the reason behind the "broken" links is that B92 puts the address in a [link] but the "/" is left out. So for miri, roberto, Ian, and others who voluntarily come here to basically call B92 a place of agit prop without doing their homework yet asking others to do so because they're too busy posturing:

1. Go to the link I provided and after clicking it, add a "/" in the address bar.

2. Or just google "Ambasadat në “social” and you'll get your phantom article that you claim never exists.

3. Here's the cached link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:JKOGds13XLwJ:www.zeri.info/artikulli/1/1/25834/ambasadat-ne-social/+Ambasadat+n%C3%AB+%E2%80%9Csocial%E2%80%9D&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

They acknowledged the reality.

and thank you to all members of minorities, and dissidents, who have not left in utter disgust, but agree to continue the good fight here. keep it up, and god bless you. do not be intimidated! do not be scared off! freedom and independence are crucial and precious things, and they do not come cheaply. freedom of speech is one of the most precious things of all.
