"Brotherhood and Unity" relay resurrected in Slovenia

The Croatian-Slovenian Relay of Brotherhood and Unity has started in Umag, a small town in western Croatia.

This is not just old communists showing fondness to Tito, but it’s simply people looking back with fondness of a time which offered much more to them then their current situation.

Yes the old Yugo was not up to western standards but it came close where everyone had a job and most had been on holidays throughout Europe. Today only a small percentage can afford a trip outside their country and life is difficult for most.

I have said many times that the Slovenes and Croats would raise Tito’s memory to new heights, but for my money they can have him. Serbs have spent enough time money and energy propping up that failed Yugo state.
