Serbian prosecution backs Del Ponte

This would be a fitting way for Del Ponte to make amends for her anti Serb bias earlier in her career. I think she's come to realise, as have others in the know, that some pretty horrific crimes were perpetrated against the Serbian people not just in Kosovo. And they have gone unpunished for way too long. Those smug politicians, I use the word loosely, in Pristina and elsewhere are beginning to realise they may not get away with it. Once Del Ponte gets her teeth into something she rarely lets go. She's dealt with gangsters before be they Italian or Albanian.

Responding to Del Ponte's statement that she did not know about the alleged destruction of the evidence pertaining to the human organ trafficking in Kosovo which was done during her tenure. BELGRADE -- The Serbian War Crimes Prosecution believes that Carla Del Ponte would be "a good chouce " You Serbs are grasping at anything Carla needs a job to live her high maintenance jet setting life stile thats all. I have to agree with you here, Lenard, you are spot-on!

this woman is really horrible, not just the worst of the hague prosecutors. don't even try to compare her to the likes of a (justifiably) highly respected louise arbour, who preceded her. carla is simply a mess.

i really believe that if slobo hadn't croaked when he did (russian roulette is a dangerous game), that trial might still be going. and the blame for that would rest squarely on her shoulders. because she is an over-the-top drama queen, an incompetent prosecutor, and generally a very nasty person ("white witch" fits her to a tee, despite what the hard-core nationalists here might wish to believe.)

it is also quite telling that 2 of the people closest to her have turned against her, having learned first hand what she is about. the first is flo hartmann. now flo, herself, is not the nicest person, as i learned the hard way. i assumed then that both of them were made of the same stuff. then, suddenly, flo exposed her ex-boss as a fraud and just a very bad, unprofessional person. in fact, it was because of del-ponte that serbia's "state secrets" were kept from the world court, which was then ruling on serbia's genocide ag. bosnia. these "state secrets" which show CLEARLY serbia's direct links to the genocide, were, because of del-ponte's agreement, ruled inadmissible to the court. can you imagine??

thus that bizarre ruling came down that belgrade was "only" responsible for not stopping the genocide at srebrenica. talk about a perversion of justice! belgrade celebrated. for the future history books, for not having to pay reparations... for pretending to be "innocent." for official relativizing of genocide. for that we have the white witch to thank.

and also Geoffrey Nice, the main prosecutor in the milosevic case, working under carla -- you can't even mention her name without him shuttering. Quite understandably.

so i really don't think anyone would be crazy enough to appoint her, except for the other 3 verticies of the SMEAR report: marty/moscow/belgrade. but as for normal, rational folks, i very much doubt it.

but on the upside, maybe carla could figure out a way to earn more $$. let's see...

isn´t it really amazing? all of a sudden, our dear k-albanian friends are criticizing Carla del Ponte, for allegedly only being interested in the money to go into her pockets, like one of our dear k-albanian friends has put it... .

well, while she was good enough for them to lead the investigations when it was against the Serbs, NOW, as I said it before, NOW , ALL OF A SUDDEN they are against her...

and I think Carla del Ponte is probably the best choice at all, since her conduct in the past was not really pro-serbian, so nobody can seriously call her biased, without making a complete idiot of himself.

well, I will enjoy when the truth will come to the surface. and you cannot do anything against it. you can just sit there in your cafe´s in downtown pristina, what you are anyway doing all day long... and then you might sit there and watch your so beloved victim-role fall apart.

time works for Serbia! Serbia will prevail, and yours is it wait. oh, you are free to write funny comments though, of course, but the good thing is, you can do nothing against it.

oh, you can of course attack serbian churches and burn them down, or beat up elderly serbs whereever you are brave enough to assault them... but that again would only show your true nature to the world...

and this time, Serbia will take care of the world-press to be ready when Albanians resort to terror and violence again.
