Robert, I am really sorry for you that you didn't get to slap his face.. As the mature adult you says you are I can understand how frustrated you feel...

But tell me something, What is the point of your post? Would it be better if there weren't any talks between Belgrade-Pristina?

Since you claim to be a journalist/writer, can you stop hiding behind the keyboard and give a reference to ONE article/book that you have written?
I thought so.....

I'm curious what the results of these issues might be. Probably something like Kosovo will only regognize new green Serbian number plates or so, and Serbia will recognize Kosovo custom stamps with a small "1244" in the middle ;-)

--When asked whether the Serbian team insists on the status issue, he said that Belgrade was not the one trying to impose this matter within each and every given subject in the dialogue.

“We consider the status issue solved and rooted in our Constitution, but the real state of things is quite different, since Priština insists on this point and brings up the status issue in every topic of talks,” the Belgrade team head pointed out.

“If everything could be turned into a political issue, if they see the necessity to mention their so-called independence in everything, then you will understand that this is a problematic and complex process,” he stressed and added that the Serbian side did not insist on this and simply wanted to find tangible answers.--

As i have mentioned, Stefanovic is a Radical in the mold of his protegee vuc Jeremic. this is who the blgd regime sends to the "negotiations." which shows just how serious they are about progressive resolution and "compromise." We only said it (kosovo will always be serbia) 4 times, whereas they said it (presumably referring to being an independent nation) 36 times... he was counting? just so low and immature. i really did want to slap his face, in belgrade, but hey, we're all sophisticated adults here, right?

This insistence on pushing the kostunica constitution is such a joke -- that was the super-nationalist document that was rushed through and "voted" on so fast it would make your head spin. exactly demonstrative of kostunica the "legalist" (doing whatever he pleased using legal-ist means.) bahind his meek and boring exterior, kostunica is a very dangerous person. we have been told that he destroyed a great deal of files related to the milosevic era. not to mention his role in the djindjic assassination... you can censor me (again and again) for saying so, but then you all have to sleep at night with yr so-called conscience.

certainly kostunica fought milosevic's extradition, tooth and nail, though later ending up bribing a # of other prominent war criminals to take a trip to the hague. this is how serbia sent "so many" of their prominent war criminals to the hague: intense outside pressures coupled w/ bribes. not because they were in ANY way willing and open to cooperation!

as for mass-murderer mladic (remember him, hiding -- in plain sight-- some km's away from yr offices, kostunica protected him. duh. i was censored for saying so at the time (here, of course) but now it is more or less admitted. as the current blgd regime continues to harbor him. and when they leave office, soon! we hope, then yes, it will come out that they too were guilty. all this jazz about reports and the hague prosecutor is simple diversion, simple subterfuge.

anyway, these "negotiations" have resolved absolutely nothing. but there will have to be something concrete that serbia agrees to, to please their european overseers. the days of the old colonial/slave "talks" of pre-feb 2008 are long over.

Rather than playing this game of ambiguity and double meanings can this news media tell us how is the issue of free movement of people be resolved? Will Serbs and Kosovars use their own respective passports?

Enough with articles written only to trigger empty discussions on who was here first.
Give some facts and leave politics out if you can.

“We consider the status issue solved and rooted in our Constitution, but the real state of things is quite different,"

Lol, congratulations on that fake victory too.
Maybe if you write in your constitution that every Serb is super rich and has a phd, also that they are the first people on earth and the Slavik language was copied from Serbia to Russia, than mister negotiator you will be more believable.

But the real state of things is quite different!!!
