Why the silence on your own hypocricy?
And yeah, why the multiple thumbs up?
You lied about that before.

You don't strike me as a very honourable or honest person. Why don't you reflect on that?

Dragan

pre 12 godina

bganon,
Ok, so you have an opinion on splitting Kosovo, but you don't have an opinion on doing the same with Bosnia and leave it to the 'locals'. Interesting.
I am for consistency and fairness. I don't buy that every ethnic group in ex-Yugoslavia except for Serbs were given the right to self-determination, which is the anti-Serb German-sponsored foreign policy adopted by the EU and the US. You, and liberals like you, by saying 'well let's be pragmatic and split up Kosovo', while at the same time not saying a peep about applying the same standard to Serbs in Bosnia, the SAME right to self-determination, are in fact adopting that same anti-Serbian policy. I'm not sure if this is because you are blind, brainwashed, illogical, or just plain don't like Serbs in Bosnia. But your hypocrisy is showing.

Dragan

pre 12 godina

bganon,
So if you think it is good to 'broach the subject', don't you think it is good for Serbian politicians to talk about equal standards for Bosnia? Why is no Serbian politican calling for independence of Republika Srpska in the same way? Bosnia is a fake state, and has no chance of surviving. I'm interested to hear your opinion here. You seem to think it's ok to split Kosovo from Serbia, but not ok to give Serbs in Bosnia the same right to self-determination.

bganon

pre 12 godina

Dragan I take it from your previous statements that you are against the splitting of Kosovo and therefore against the indepdence of Republika Srpska.

Why on earth you wanted to defeat your own argument to try to prove a point to me I don't know.

My own opinion is that its not for me to dictate the solution for Kosovo or Bosnia. The splitting of Kosovo is not something I happily support, but it might be the least worst solution. And I do deal in solutions, not in eternal problems, grieviences and other such nonsense. As far as Bosnia is concerned that country and its people (including Republika Srpska) will decide its own fate. Bosnia may not function as a state, but the fact is that ordinary Bosnians are capable of getting on. Sadly, relations between Serbs and Kosovo Albanians are pretty poisoned at both a political and grassroots level.

So lets not dictate from outside how others should live their lives.

What we need in the Balkans is normalisation and some solutions. The world is moving forward and we are being left behind.

For Kosovo, there is only one solution, it must be declared to be Serbian territory under occupation. Just as the Greeks do with Cyprus. Partition of Kosovo is not an option, no one in Serbia has no right to sign the disposal of the national territory. And for K-Albanians, time will tell how their organization is based on crime and terror.

Like I said before, a good solution to the Kosovo problem will be to give the Serbs 6 or 7 enclaves in Kosovo which will function as a part of Serbia and allow them to keep their major cultural sites such as Gracanica, Decani Monastery, Pec Patriarchate, Bogordica Ljeviska, Devic Monastery, etc. It would actually be a smart move for the Albanians since very soon 200,000 Serbs refugees from Kosovo will start moving back and if they do not get those 6 or 7 enclaves they will be spread out over much more territory which will only be a loss for the Albanians. I believe the Serbs should get Northern Kosovo, the Gracanica enclave including Gazimestan, the Novo Brdo and Ranilug enclaves, the Partes and Klokot enclvaes, the Strpce enclave including the southern part of the municipality of Prizren and the Serbian quarter of the city of Prizren, and the area west and south of the city of Pec and the northern part of the municipality of Decani. All together this would prbably compromise

Kosovo is not lost so stop speaking rubbish. If Kosovo was lost then serbia would not be in control of 25% of it's territory (Northern Kosovo, Gracanica, Strpce, Ranilug, Partes, Klokot, Gorzadevac, Velika Hoca). Serbia also has legal claims to Kosovo such as UNSC Resolution 1244 and the UN Charter. Just the fact that Kosovo can not join the UN, EU, or any other international forum without Serbia's blessing demonstartes its sovereignty over the province.

Mr. Dacic Serbia will soon be using military force to bring back order in Kosovo and Metohija. The temporary institutions in Pristina need to make one stupid move in Kosovo, such as attempting to use force to bring their influence within the serb enclaves, and the Serbian army will move in. I can promise you. This would have to wait a few motnhs ,however, when Tomislav Nikolic is elected President at the end of the year. There is going to be a whole nother ball game going on in the Balkans after he is elected.

Can you imagine a minister, or some other high ranking official, in say USA, telling publicly that he personally thinks that California should be given independence, and later be annexed by Mexico?! I mean, not only would his political career be finished, but he would also face charges on accounts of high treason. And how is Serbia supposed to be taken seriously by EU, USA or any other country, when minister of internal affairs is making such statements. Further more Serbia does indeed have articles in its penal code prohibiting such things under the penalty of up to 10 years of imprisonment. Only in Serbia...

Whatever my opinion of Dacic and whatever his reasons for saying this now it was necessary that somebody broached this subject.

Isn't it high time to inject a bit of realism into the Kosovo problem? Its statements like these that get people talking in the open what they have been talking about in private for such a long time.

However, I highly doubt that Dacic told Milosevic to support splitting Kosovo. Most SPS officials including Dacic were slavish to Milosevic not daring to contradict the official line. And Milosevic famously decried Dacic as 'that little puffed up piece of turkish delight', as if Sloba would have even listened to Dacic.

I expect that his statements on Kosovo will actually go down quite well with a section of the Serbian population who want a quick solution to Kosovo. Dacic might actually pick up a few thousand votes for this - and he knows it.

Dacic is a brave politician and a good Serbian patriot, plus he is form Prizren and knows very well Kosova unlike many of you here.

He is #2 in Serbia and I don't think he can talk about such sensitive matter without having a blessing of the political elite in Belgrade and at least a partial consent from Prishtina.

Now what we will see in the coming days form the Blgd politicians is just a bit of theater.

think the current solution to kosovo is just fine.
Kosovo is not independent and is clearly an integral part of Serbia.
Let the albanians chant their slogans and dream their dreams whilst living in in poverty, crime and isolation..

From where I am standing , I don't se a shred of evidence that Kosova is integral part of Serbia. If is tru what you saying, than how can a foreign country have two embassies/two ambassadors in same country???
I am keeping the fate that you will give us all an honest to god answer, on my question.

You can play on technicalities all you want clown but the truth is that Kosovo is a sovereign country. When was the last time Serbia collected taxes? Enforced laws? Flew Serbian flags in our government buildings?

Get over yourself, your dreams of maintaining your Kosovo Colony died with the Slobo the butcher.

Thanks,

I wouldn't call the current status of Kosovo a 'solution', but yes, it allows both Serbs to dream of 'Kosovo is Serbia' and Albanians to dream of 'Kosovo is independent'. But we all know that it's just a limbo state, with no progress and no future, until a mutual agreement will be found.

It is fine with us albanians. We don't expect anything good coming from Serbia. You serbs on the other hand have been told to have "Good neighborly relations" with your neighbours if you want to be part of EU and get some of their dough.Wait and see if your "neighbourly relations" are good enough for the pass.

Why the silence on your own hypocricy?
And yeah, why the multiple thumbs up?
You lied about that before.

You don't strike me as a very honourable or honest person. Why don't you reflect on that?

Hmmm, you must have poor eye sight due to all that depleted uranium.
Have you been up north?
If you had, you would have seem MANY Serbian flags flying all over the place.

Kosovo Laws are a joke, and are being enforced by the KFOR as the so called Kosovo Police are way to incompetent and corrupt.

As for taxes, what taxes?
Kosovo is a black hole, it produces nothing.
Kosovo is way too poor to make any money, and the albanians are way too crooked and corrupt to even pay their own government.
Why bother with small taxes.

On the other hand, Kosovo receives most of its imports from Serbia.
This is a huge economic boost to the Serbian economy.
It also keeps the k-albanians slaves to Serbian prices and supplies.

As for Slobo, he was an under achiever, and i personally think he was very weak and soft on you albanians.
You should be thanking your lucky stars that you were dealing Slobo and not a real Serb nationalist.

Wow, another albanian rocket scientist :-)
You obviously dont read or listen to the news.

There are currently negotiations going on.
The Serb delegation have been trying to have neighbourly relations.
But its proving to be impossible when the albanians are nothing more than organ traffickers who throw stones at Serbian negotiating teams.
But thats fine, the only thing Serbia has to do is wait and let the whole process drag out.
In the mean time, you albanians can enjoy your wonderful freedom/poverty & Crime!

Serbia = PASS
K-albania = FAIL!!

Kosovo embassies are symbolic and totally irrelevant.
Apart from begging and thanking the EU for their cash handouts, enlighten us as to what they actually do?

What is relevant is that Kosovo is NOT recognised by the UN, EU or any international organisation that hasnt been approved by Serbia.

Answer me this, where will you albanians find work?
You cannot travel anywhere on your kosovo passport/toilet paper.
You produce nothing, except for drugs and scrap metal, and your third rate universities are not recognised.

Sounds like heaven to me!

Dacic is liar and a fraud.
His teacher was Slobodan Milosevic, do you know who was that guy?

Kosovo is heart of Serbia. And heart cant work when it is divided into two parts.

RSA

@ citizen
The heart actually does work in two parts : one side for new blood and one for old blood. Anyway, people should start thinking with their heads and not with their hearts.

Why don't you guys stop living in the past with a revenge mentality and just accept each others differences and learn to live together. Tolerance is all that's needed not separation, division or war.

Everyday I see more and more stupid moves by the ones who should be leading this country to a better tomorrow! After this statement Dacic should resign and let others who will respect the country by respecting it`s statute! Resignation for insulting almost every citizen of Serbia - NOW, it would be only decent move he`d make as a minister in this corrupted government!

Dragan

bganon,
So if you think it is good to 'broach the subject', don't you think it is good for Serbian politicians to talk about equal standards for Bosnia? Why is no Serbian politican calling for independence of Republika Srpska in the same way? Bosnia is a fake state, and has no chance of surviving. I'm interested to hear your opinion here. You seem to think it's ok to split Kosovo from Serbia, but not ok to give Serbs in Bosnia the same right to self-determination.

Dragan

pre 12 godina

bganon,
Ok, so you have an opinion on splitting Kosovo, but you don't have an opinion on doing the same with Bosnia and leave it to the 'locals'.
