IMF chief arrested on sex charges

I hope this will prove to be the most costly sodomy-attack this depraved IMF-monster ever has performed.

If this is true, the 62 year old man is a creep and should be locked up.

His hotel room cost an outrageous $3000 USD per night! Are public tax dollars paying for his defense AND his hotel room, too?

Some people have a weird sense of justice - punishing the victim as well as the criminal. I once served on a jury for a very similar case.
The accused was a young, white, male and the victim was a middle aged Mexican immigrant hotel maid. The accused was violent and threatened the maid with a knife. He though he could get away with the crime because the maid could not speak English. His defense attorney argued to get me on the jury because I was also a young, white, male. It didn't work. The trial took two days and we took two hours to convict him. We could have been done in an hour but the jury foreman thought that it would have been inappropriate to pass a verdict so quickly. The judge sentenced the low-life to 25 years in prison. The maid had been receiving counseling and assistance at the crisis center.

Yeah, that guy is probably near the bottom on my sympathy list - but American law practice has pretty unhealthy relation to sex and we know the attitude of American lawyers + prosecutors. So "bad" met the "worst".

At last, the relation to sex is where the entire Europe is firmly ahead of America, hands down and without a slightest doubt. From that point of view Kosovo is better than America - you never expected I would say such phrase.

Don't know, but since Agim mentioned the small and the big head... American attitude towards sex is medieval, but that guy is lucky he was not in Saudi Arabia. There he would lose both heads like 1-2-3.

There is actually a small place called "Джида" in Russia, it's near the Mongolian border and mostly Buryat-Mongols live there. There is a saying:

- "What's the difference between Джида and Jeddah"? (For starters who can't read Cyrillic: both cities are pronounced exactly the same way)

- "In Джида you can fall in love with local girls and lose your head many times"
