Remember you are hiding cowards. They siege Sarajevo for 46 months and did not dear to take the city at least once. To a normal people this speaks volumes.
(ben, 10 May 2011 09:48)

We didn`t take it because we didn`t want to take it and because of American pressure!

Typical Albanian reasoning:

If the Serbs don`t attack us they are cowards!
If they attack us and kick our butts(and boy we kicked Albanian terrorist butts real good in 98-99)our beaten soldiers suddenly become "poor, poor civilians"!
Albanian terrorists ALWAYS throughout history were cowards and lost every battle and war, they were only good at stealing, lying and attacking someone sneakingly from behind...

to all those who claim serbia should have or could have found the two much sooner, maybe you should share your knowledge with those who are searching. I am impressed by your ability to find them so quickly. Rather than blindly saying they should be found maybe you can offer some suggestions as to exactly how and where they can be found. Then ask yourselves why it took the worlds most sophisticated armed forces 10 years to find one man who regularly went on radio and tv and lived withinn a few hundred metres of an army training acadamy. Maybe if they want them caught so badly they should provide as much assistance as possible rather than just standing by and critisizing. One final point, Serbia has delivered almost 97% of the "fugitives" that she has been required to deliver to the Hague. Can anyone name me one, just one, other country that can even come close to that level of success. Certainly Croatia is nowhere near that fuigure and yet look at Croatia's EU acceptance compared to Serbia's. You can, objectively, at least appreciate why Serbia is maybe a little entitled to feel some level of confusion as to why she is seemingly treated with something less than a fair hand.

Lets look at your statements.
1. The west was looking for OBL in foreign territory where access was limited. Support from the local govt was questionable as many in office agree with OBL. Similar to the govt of Serbia.
2. Karadzic has proven that there is no need to hide in Serbia, he ran a shop in the capital of Belgrade for 10 years. I have not heard any claims that OBL came and went publicly, he traveled in secret.
3. There are no international units searching inside Serbia for the fugitives, only nationals.
4. OBL had not only political but mass financial means to avoid capture.

You want to put it to rest?, Open the door for international search teams with unimpeded access and let them judge if they are there.

Your criticism would make sense if your were pointing it at the Pakistani authorities, as you can see there was still condemnation from the govt for invasion of their sovereignty.

The Serbian reluctance in arresting Mladic and Hadzic is simply disgusting.

You show that your moral values are the same as the Qadaffies one or any other ruthless and imoral dictator.

If Maldic and Hadzic are that innocent let them face the court; the truth shall sett them free.

But killing in 3 years 1,525 children’s only in Sarajevo is far from setting these criminals free that’s are why they are hiding; that's why you are hiding them. This shows how far your moral values are form the rest of civilized world. Don’t have any illusions: EU will accept even Hitler if they can get something out of it – but don’t believe that you will ever be accepted as equal as your moral values are not the same as of the rest.

Remember you are hiding cowards. They siege Sarajevo for 46 months and did not dear to take the city at least once. To a normal people this speaks volumes.

It's funny how Albanians come on here critisizing Serbian efforts during WW2, yet the same people were aligned with the Axis powers. Quite ironic I would have thought. For the record look at the Albanian population in Kosovo pre and post WW2 to see the total inbalance. For that we have Josip Broz Tito to thank for. Albanias contribution to Europe thus far has been (1) Drugs, (2)Prostitution, (3) Human trafficking...etc etc

I wonder how much anyone who could pressure Serbia -- assuming one or both of these indictees is still within reach of the Serbian authorities -- really cares about this matter anymore. I think that by now it should be fairly clear to all who follow this ongoing saga that Serbia, if able, won't arrest Mladic and Hadzic unless the price is right. And given that we see an EU integration process already well underway, it is somewhat difficult to imagine a point at which that process would suddenly be halted in an effort to get Belgrade to cooperate.

Here in the US, Mladic has all but vanished from the news and I seriously doubt that the average American has ever even heard of Goran Hadzic. I listen to the BBC frequently and there's scant mention of either on those airwaves, so it would seem that the situation isn't all that different in Western Europe (at least on radio and television). So given that no one seems to care in the US and Britain, I think it's safe to say that there's very little support for creating the conditions for an arrest. I do occasionally hear that Holland is holding out on voting for Serbia's admission to the EU as long as Mladic continues to walk free, but could the Dutch alone really make a difference? Something tells me that they could not.

--If Serbia wanted they could have arrested Mladic 15 years ago, 10 years ago, 5 years ago, 1 year ago, yesterday, even this afternoon. It can not be that hard to arrest a dispicable sickly old man living in Belgrade now can it? Please save us all the "he's hiding on a mountain that nobody can climb" stories. It's obvious that the Serbian authorities including the police know where Mladic is and that certain powerful elements are giving him official protection. That was the case with Karadzic and pretty much all other war criminals captured in Serbia. If they found Bin Laden "hiding" in a multi-million dollar mansion in Pakistan's military heartland I'm sure they'll be able to find Mladic "hiding" in his posh Belgrade appartment. We all saw the videos of Mladic dancing at wedding parties in Belgrade just a few years back. The EU needs to stop appeasing a Serbian regime that willfully aids and abetts Europ's most vile war criminal. It's time to tell Serbia to stop playing games - they're fooling nobody but themselves into thinking that Serbia has a European future while it's government is officially supporting and giving sanctuary to the world's most wanted genocidal war criminal.

Serbia could find Mladić, if they wanted to. The Americans could've found Bin Laden earlier but it would've meant an early end to the "War on Terror". If Serbia finds Mladić it will mean EU integration. Surely the people hiding him are the same who don't want EU integration.

Asked about his reaction to hearing that Serbia's EU membership depended on his reports, the prosecutor said this was "the wrong way to look at things".
Serbia's membership depended on his reports, so instead of Serbia doing its job he should alter his reports, similar to a student in school cannot graduate if his report card is bad so instead of the student working for good grades the teacher should just alter the report card or they are a bad person!
As far as "Mother Russia" give up your cooperation with the EU states and isolate yourself and then find out how important Serbia is to Russia.
No one is driving nails in the coffin, Serbia is pulling the lid shut all on their own.
