Nothing new in DOS-Serbia...
People who willingly surrendered tremendous arsenals of weapons to the enemy(Croats)instead of blowing them up end up rewarded while honourable fighters against Bosniak and Albanian Muslim terrorism like General Ratko Mladic are being searched for...
What a disgusting government,it will end up on the ash heaps of history very soon...

As for bganon, there are lots of anational, pacifistic, socialistic psychopaths like him within Serbia`s elites since 1945:
And we see the results of their "wise" polcies:
Whether its the economy, national defense, territorial integrity or anything else...

The thing I like most though is that the Serbian youth who grew up in the 90s is much more nationalistic and anti-Yugoslavian(Yugoslavia was not a nation, bganon)and totally imune to any "brotherhood and unity" crap which led Serbia`s elites to compromise Serbian interests for the common "Yugoslavian" good in the past...
We must mercilessly root out pacifism, communism and Yugoslavianism in Serbia!
Only Serb national interests should count, nothing else!

Trifunovic didn't abandon his nation. His nation abandoned him. And then all the former countries that made up that nation stabbed him in the back accusing him of serving the other side.

Besides, I hate all this servile trust in authorities and nation. It reminds of the George Bush brand of politics and its completely divorced from reality.

The only disgrace here is that he was betrayed by his country and was forced to live in a third class hotel (I know and have seen the rooms) with pittance to live on for many years.

Absolutely disgusting that only now has the government done the right thing and its not enough.

Too little, too late.

I agree with Michael Thomas, he should have destroyed the whole stuff, instead of giving the enemy the chance to use it against yugoslav forces.

what the brits would do with him, is not of interest, though.

On the contrary, he should be given a medal, not only for saving those men's lives from being lost in futility for a stupid war of aggression against Croatia, but precisely for whatever role his surrender played in ending that stupid war of aggression. It is all the people who waged it in the Serbian and "Yugoslav" political and military "leadership" who ought be strung up as traitors.

This man is a disgrace to his iniform and his nation. He should have destroyed all the weapons under his control rather than let them fall into the hands of the enemy.

If he were a British or American officer, then he would have been put up against a wall and shot. In the mad world of DOS-Serbia, this traitor is paid compensation for his suffering.
