what kfor... has written about the k-albanians contains some reality though. I talked with several ex-KFOR-soldiers, and they all told me ( without knowing each other and without having asked them about that ) that it was always quite easy to say which ethnicity lived in a certain village, just from entering the village... as soon as they approached a village they could quickly identify serb, albanian or roma-settlements by the first look.
it was about dirt on the streets, and in front of the houses...

these were not only swiss, but also german and french KFOR-members, so I believe they weren´t all deployed in one single place.

this is not meant as an offense towards our k-albanian friends here, it is simply what I have heard from ex-kfor-members who were deployed in southern Serbia.

@KFOR2004: Really? The Kosovar-Albanians or at least many of them are that terrible according to a Swiss colleague or person of some sort?If it's not a personal question to ask but are you not fond of Albanians? Even if you think I'm sidetracking the issue but on May 4th for a May 2nd article I had the misfortune to deal with a "foolishly" rude b92 viewer who I assume is Albanian so what is my point you may ask? My point is that unlike certain folks I don't want to generalize about Albanians even if I'm not saying nor insinuating that you are generalizing about them. On a side note, even if not everyone cares,I actually felt good giving a blunt and angry reply to that b92 viewer who I described as being "foolishly" rude.

as i am currently in the ME I definitely recognize the Kosovo `s albanians similarity with muslim arabs - the same mentality, dirt everywhere, strive for supremacy and extremely nationalitic while still blabbling about democratic values.
I`ve got one question to Kosovo albanians - could you please explain why is your nationalism better than for instance of your neighbours` ? What I see is that your self-proclaimed state is ethnically the most mono-ethnic place in Europe? Think that was your real goal - ethnic cleansing of Serbs you overbred. For sure you say you are just cultural muslims `cause you know very well that Islam, like communism, has nothing to do with democracy, you say your religion is albanianism - if this is not nazism then what it is? I have talked to swiss colleguagues who say that albanians are the most difficult and criminal ethnic group there (though, there are slavs as well but they bend much faster to the local rules)and they will to try send as many of so called (economic)refugees back to Kosovo - and that is why your so called state was created.
Serb army needs to go back to Kosovo and enforce the real law and order by using modus operandi you practice among themselves - then you should not complain anymore!

This clown shouldn't be allowed to come on an official visit......honestly for the first Serbian official to visit Kosovo's capital should be reserved; I'm thinking for a red carpet invite of Cedo Jeremic.

As far as the talks....they will fail.....it's best to stop them until Serbia concedes to a neighborly recognition.

Good point Demi with the statements you made about Kosovo's independence status that got me realizing that it's a good thing that I reside in a country (Canada)which I trust still recognizes Kosovo's sovereign status and I also trust that the country I'm presently visiting(United States) recognizes Kosovo's status as well.

Highdude Serbia will recognize Kosovo sooner or later. It is going in that direction and we can see it clearer everyday. Do you see it ? Stefanovic is visiting an independent Kosovo and not serbian Kosovo. The people he will meet have declared that independence.

What does it mean when Stefanovic(a serbian offical representative of the state of Serbia) meets Kosovo goverment official in the capital of Kosovo Prishtina under the Kosovo flag ?? This all with the permission of the goverment of Kosovo ?

Pathetic how you still hope that Kosovo will integrate with Serbia in some way. This will never happend and the declared Kosovo independence will not vanish as you dream. Kosovo in reality is an state and its just time for serbs to realize it just like all other neighbours of Kosovo has done.

Serbia will recognize Kosovo for the sake of regional stability and Eu integration.
