Another Canadian Serb,

I do not try to deny barbaric acts of Ottomans. Or other acts of barbarism by any other group or individual.

My aim was to prove wrong your claim "nothing good has ever come between muslims and europe".

Simpleminded statements, politics and hate speeches attract simpleminded people. Such individuals or groupings always first appear powerful and dynamic because they act on simple and usually violent answers, unable to cope with the complexity of dilemmas, or of life's matters altogether.

Even if you, Another Canadian Serb, weren't Christian you could consider what's written in the book of Christians': Blessed are the peacemakers. In the case of the breakup of Yugoslavia and the wars that followed the peacemakers were first of all those domestic individuals who in villages and towns stood against violence and madness that appeared. And so many of them perished in the hands of their own people, people who called themselves Christians.

To reply to you accordingly you seem to have a poor IQ. I didn't say Germany is in Europe and Russia somewhere else geographically. The context of my comment was clearly that Germany is in Europe politically and Russia not. In case someone wants to join the European club then it is up to Germany and not up to Russia. I hope it is clear for you now.

Dear Another Canadian Serb.

As it seems that you have missed a bulk of education, please, better late than never, introduce yourself to this easy reading article:

Then: Your reply was the best prove to my claim of you being a yesterday's man.

And: Your agenda forgets the fact that Serbs have killed thousands of Serbs. So it's no wonder that my father-in-law once (already before last wars) told me "nothing good from a Serb to another Serb".

Dragan, I can be called "international", it's OK with me. You can also say that I'm preaching. I don't mind. You're welcome. You've got your right to live as you please, as long as not harming people around you. If asked from me, you can also blame "outsiders" of what ever you want. But it's another matter how living in this illusion helps you.

I've seen how your people operate with each others.

I doubt they're going to do a UDI, they'd prefer to do it legally, whats more likely going to happen is their gonna A. form an Alliance with the Croats, which would constitute a majority, or B. Veto absolutley everything; and bring the country to a standstill at which point the Muslims will want to get rid of them.

"The burden of proof falls on the person making the claim", so please prove that your claim is correct.
The burder of proof (an everylasting elusive abstraction) false upon the shoulders of those that want the truth, not the one voicing it.
Furthermore, if we're discussing accepted historical accounts, it falls upon the denier (not the claimant) that the account is wrong. When someone claims that 6 million jews were murdered in WW2, and someone else denies it, it falls upon the denier, regardless of who initiated the dialog to prove that 6 million jew were not murdered because by being accepted historically, it is a defacto proven statement.
consider that there has been no proof for Iraqi wmd. Not prooven that OBL was behind 911. No proof that Lybia is actually going through an ethnic cleansing that requires NATO to attack.
The burdern of proof has not been used for much of anything recently, and it is less and less likely that it will be actually used again.

"If Yugoslavia can be broken up, then so can Bosnia."

...then so can Serbia!

"If Germany can hastily recognize Croatia and bully the rest of Europe into doing so, then Russia can also hastily recognize Republika Srpska. And guess what, that is all we need. If we have Russian and Serbian recognition, that is good enough for us, it's a country, and the others will follow in due time. Just wait and see, interesting times are ahead of us"

Serbs have been always troublemakers in Balkans and they are doing the same nowadays. Germany is in Europe while Russia is not. In case you decide to join any club of Russia or Belarus then you might be right that recognition from Russia weights more than rec. from Germany. You show against Germans one and the same attitude for years. We will always return it accordingly.

Serbian extremists in this forum would love more Ghadafi than the west. Let them closed as colony like Abkhazia, Ossetia or Transnistria.

Thanks from Germany!

The burden of proof falls on the person making the claim. Otherwise, any fool could state whatever he wanted without any supporting evidence and expect others to believe his ridiculous pronouncements. A perfect example of this is Dick Marty.

Olli, we don't need more preaching from outsiders. These outsiders were very quick to illegaly recognize Croatia and Bosnia, even though Serbs living there were vehemently against it, and they have caused a mess, a disaster in fact, with their meddling.
The bottom line is, the West helped break up Yugoslavia, and are trying their best to break up Serbia (although unsuccessfully thanks to Russia). If Yugoslavia can be broken up, then so can Bosnia. If Germany can hastily recognize Croatia and bully the rest of Europe into doing so, then Russia can also hastily recognize Republika Srpska. And guess what, that is all we need. There are progressive and intelligent Bosniaks, Bosnian Serbs and Croats who are for common good. It's high time for them to rise. With the help of progressive public's support they will be able to step forward even though many will call them traitors.

Olli, what about progressing and intelligent "internationals"? They are the ones that caused this mess and now want us to fix it without hand over power? In the case of BiH, I think it's a bit like Humpty Dumpty. It was the west that forced the division of Yugoslavia, splitting Serbians, Bosnian Muslims and Croatians but now they want us together again? Well, all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty together again.

You see, if there were any brave "internationals" here doing good for these people, then Milosevic would be proven right. Now how many westerners want to be called a traitor?

Sometimes the right thing to do is blurred by might. I'm not sure if you are aware but one of the biggest problems in BiH is the Bosnian Muslims haven't a clue about running a country. On the other hand, Serbians have a lot more experience and have made a success of our little entity. I think I know what is the right but others keep thinking might is right. Identify the problem and things become clearer.

Well, I think the problem is the following:

You can talk a lot. You can talk as long as you want. As all three parties SHOULD talk...

But then you face the fact: all three parties want something really different:

- Muslims/Bosniaks: A more centralized state.

- Serbs: More power to the regions. And maybe even independence.

- Croats: At least an own entity. And thus more power to the regions.

Well, if all three parties want change.... but in a 'different direction', well, I think then you really got a problem indeed!

But as I stated before and before... if Kosovo can go, so can RS and Croats in Bosnia.

It is a sad situation!
