"It is unfair to continue the trial with incomplete evidence after the prosecutor's office had so much time for an investigation," the judge noted.

I'm not sure if Seselj's life is in danger but I certainly think this judge could mysteriously disappear.

You conveniently left out the next sentence
"Antonetti said he believed that some crimes in the indictment were sufficiently proven, while others were not"
ie. at this stage it does not look like anyone considers him innocent. He only said that he did not feel that the prosecution proved their case on some of the crimes but the majority of the court did.
So no defense and he will be found guilty. A guilty plea in the beginning would have probably let him out by the time of elections as the Hague is not known for stiff sentences.

They'll just keep him in prison until after the next Serbian elections. That is the way of 'western' justice. If, by any miracle he returns, we have already read that Belgrade wants him "for questioning" with regards to the death of Djindjic. Neither want him in political circulation regardless of the law. This is 'modern' europe built on human right.

A legitimate point of view. Not held by the other two judges it seems.

This statement should help the defence on certain aspects of its case agains the prosecution.

Will a defence be offered?
