Never mind Maggie, when Blair goes, I will throw the Mother of all parties and your personal invite will be in the post. :-D

Thatcher as bad as she was, was not a patch on arch war criminal and mass murderer Blair.

sorry, b92 -- my comment was not censored, this time.

as for the comparison btwn mladic and bin ladin, it sticks -- they are/were both vicious mass murderers.
(roberto, 2 May 2011 21:55)

I normally do not reply to you Captain Frisco but I thought I might interject here. Bin Ladin was the Frankenstein created by the West in Afghanistan and in turn, his sponsors turned a blind eye to his activities in Bosnia and Albania http://emperors-clothes.com/news/binl.htm

Even now, your beloved US is supporting and sponsoring the same mass murdering extremists in northern Iran and Libya.

How do you explain that one?

P.S. Either you learn how to spell and write proper English or don't bother us all again with your constant drivel.

(More than just) curious - how will the "Greenback" fare against "Euro" in the short and mid-term? :-/
(Ataman, 2 May 2011 19:18)

Not great.Precisely two weeks from today, on May 16, 2011, the U.S. government will exhaust its power to borrow money.

That’s the official estimate of when the U.S. Treasury bumps up into its debt ceiling runs out of funds and is forbidden by law to borrow a penny more. After that date, says Geithner, it would be curtains: The U.S. would default on its maturing debts. Is it actually going to happen? Not yet.

But in the murky world of politics you can never believe anything politicians utter. The greenback lost 16% since June 2010 yet the official rate of inflation for March 2011 was 2.5%.Fancy that. These Fed guys must be better than Houdini.

Helicopter Ben Bernake is stiil going ahead with his $600 billion Q/E and i don't think it will be his last. How the greenback will fare against the euro will depend upon how the sovereign debt crisis in euroland will evolve. If the crisis spread into Spain then it could probably be curtains for the euro area as we know it.So the answer to your question is it could go either way.

How many years or months do you think they had Osama in the freezer before they decided to thaw him and carry out this hoax? Strange timing also--Sunday evening when the whole world goes to work the next day.
Maybe there were too much freezer burns on Osama for photo ops so they fed him to the fish like Mafia in order to destroy all evidence.
I also heard a not so credible report that they were going to fly Osama's body to a secret location for a proper burial, but they came under intense sniper attacks at some airport.

No, it's not "PS", that's precisely THE point. And Bin Laden... who cares? He is probably dead since a while. Or not, maybe he indeed went to hell a day or two ago. Good riddance but his role was greatly exaggerated.

But what is dead now - it's the "tea party" hopes for 2012.

Don`t you ever,I repeat, ever dare to compare General Ratko Mladic with a stinking terrorist weasel like Bin Laden !
Why don`t you mention the fact that Bin Laden was in Bosnia in the 90s and that the muslim "Bosnian" government sheltered him and his merceneries.
The truth is that Ratko Mladic fought this evil beast in the mountains and cavins in Bosnia while the Westerners where moaning about Serbs and fantasizing that we were invading our own country...
Every Western should be GRATEFUL to General Mladic,he lead a war against Islamic terrorism long before 911 happened!
The ICJ i a complete joke,it should revoke its fabricated case against him!

Congratulations for the Americans ! If only they could do it 10 years ago it could be quite a different world that we are living in now. Anyway I am very satisfied the bad guy is gone. We can expect some positive changes worldwide. Say Karzai for the first time stressed that the plot of the Taliban is outside Afghanistan. And he is particularly right meaning the place Usama lived in lately. It’s not a mega polis where neighbors know nothing of each other.

So there are many questions for the Pakistani militaries and the intelligence. Both headed by the Pashtoons like Karzai and Mullah Omar. But the real truth is that there’s no more of the Al Kaeda in Afghanistan. There are only few Al Qaeda terrorists all living in Pakistan. But the Pashtoons heading all the military forces and the intelligence of the two countries are not united. They consider very little the state border they have always been neglecting. But they are divided for the Pashtoon tribes they belong to. So best if the US pays more stress to bargaining the tribes’ leaders.

Bin Laden is gone and yes, we are celebrating. he was an evil mass murderer, and a symbol for others to go his way. his end needs to be celebrated.

now that mass murderer bin laden is gone, what about mass murderer mladic? the elephant in this room. everyone was sure bin laden was hiding out in the mountains, but instead a comfy mansion! as we are told here: mladic is surely hiding in belarus... 10,000 are out seaching for him every day! and other such lies and mis-leads.

mladic is "hiding" in serbia, probably in the middle of belgrade, and protected, not sought after by this blgd regime. in order to capture him, there also needs to be an outside secret force, similar to the one that got bin laden. some of us have said this before, and it is still the case. serbia's current politicians are harboring him, period.

It's called "hiding in plain sight." (thanks, npr.)

thanks. a good day for humanity.

While I privately celebrate the monster's death, there is no place for public celebration. It is as bad as the constant protests and celebrations we see almost daily in Africa and the Middle East. Shows we are no better than them.

The Americans are celebrating the elevation of OBL (aka CIA agent Tim Osman) to the status of Martyr forhis anti-western ideology.I am a bit surprised though that since they love circus they chose to dump his body intothe sea instead of placing the prize in a public display.

Since the death of OBL is “ mission accomplished” i guess the troops from Afganistan can now go home just in time for the Presidential elections. Obama can then ,as commander in chief, take a salute like Julius Ceasar did when he crossed the rubicon.
