Feith mandate expires, no decision on successor

Eulex and Pristina, perfect together - clowns and thugs. They are going nowhere.

Sounds to me like the EU is focused on other more pressing issues and has no time for "Kosova" now.

"Feith's term was originally supposed to end in late February, but the EU foreign ministers decided at a meeting on February 21 to extend his mandate until the end of April, to provide additional time for defining policy and determining how the Union will in the future be represented in Priština."

-- Didn't he also want the extra time to "reach out to the Serbs of the north" or something like that? Lot of good the extra two months did him.

Obviously eulex is worthless since the eu doesn't bother to name a successor and, since feithless's term expired before a successor was named, the UN no longer recognizes anyone from the eu in kosovo. Serbia should rip up the kumanovo agreement and move the VS into northern kosovo while HATO is bogged down in the Middle East. The ds government's refusal to do this will finish them soon.

Waste of time and money. This new person will have ZERO authority, Feith at least is recognized under Ahtisaari plan.

Maybe you should learn a little more before trying to lead your fellow Serbs down a road of destruction. 1st the office of the EU special representative has nothing to do with EULEX except they are both from the EU.
The rest is just ludicrous babble not worth the time to respond.

At least something about the death of Bin Laden would have been appropriate,unless the general feeling in Serbian public is a remorse that this mass-killer was finally eliminated.

What I read today points to the fact that British foreign affairs does not want to appoint anyone untill the other countries of EU recognize. This is being done in an concerted effort amongst the EU countries while guarantees are being given to Spain that no one will recognize any unilateral moves from the basque minority.

I wonder what is the deputy prime minister of Serbia being told in Athens right now. Sure hope it is get ready we have no choice but to join the rest of the EU and recognize.
