Number of asylum-seekers growing

The number of asylum-seekers in Serbia has been on the rise ever since 2008, a news conference was told on Monday in Belgrade.

Serbia should return these asylum seekers to the countries they passed through to reach Serbia. Most probably came through Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania.

With 1 million refugees (from Bosnia and Croats) and internally displaced people (from Kosovo) Serbia cannot afford to look after any asylum seekers.
