You're right, but all that you predict helps the DS, regardless of whether these voters vote for DS or not. This splits up the nationalist vote, which only helps DS.

Toma really helped the SRS bc the duration & circumstances of his hunger-strike were weaker compared to Seselj and bc there's an anti-EU climate in Serbia that will sway SNS voters to the SRS and a minority of them to the DSS but no way will any of them vote for the DS-led govt parties just bc of Nikolic's temporary insanity.

B92 is a good indicator for the starvation discussed. It's been several days that they pay so much attention to this rather ordinary event. It means only one thing - the other side will be pedalling this tactical mistake as long as they can. If I were B92 I would do the same cause it was rather a strange step. And it was the first time Toma has made a mistake after the strange stand against the EU intergration plan.
